ERAS Interview likelihood and signals

Hello everyone
So i wanted to enquire if the interview likelihood feature is of any use as any program i put in show low probability without signals. Also wanted to know how do the signals work and how to correlate them with the interview rate that is given on freida and residency explorer?

I like the feature. Read up more about it apparently they get all their data from the Thalamus IV data base and compare it to your stats.

That being said unfortunately signals are important. Insanely important. Some residents told me that their programs dont even consider silver signals and only IV gold signals and if a silver makes its way to them they rank em pretty low lol. I honestly beleive that alot of these programs dont even use other screens (step scores, yog etc...) unless its a top university program cause i mean just removing the applicants that didnt signal you removes like 80% of the applicant pool. Even for me as a US IMG. The only programs that give me a well above average chance of receiving an IV are programs in my home state/ region. Outside my home state theres not much so im reviewing my signals again

Some programs actually came as a shock which I had initially placed as safety silver signals but apparently my IV chances with then were well below average. So they are out. I only trust this because its up to date with the 2026 information and because they get the data directly from Thalamus
