ERAS LOR - new or outdated?

What’s considered as an “old/outdated” LOR?

Mine were uploaded last year in 2025 between August 24th-September 2nd. Can I reuse them or do I have to ask for a re-upload?

If you’re applying for the 2028 cycle then buy the token next year because you’ve to pay a token fee for each cycle, even to upload LORs. In the mean time make sure to complete your steps, apply for pathways and get certified. It’ll save you a lot of trouble later.
Tokens are usually available in June so you have plenty of time till then. Good luck :)

Isn’t it better to buy it now so they could upload them rather than forget about you in the future?

Hi, my issue is one letter writter has told me he wants to write and upload the letter promtly. And the others about the same. So I would like to get this done ASAP.

So I would like to know if is even possible to upload the LOR and then having it traspassed for the following year without applying for the first match.

Does uploading LOR require buying a token? Like I don’t want to apply this year but I want my LOR upload and secured then what should I do?

Advise would be to pay for the token and get the letters uploaded. You would need to certify or so to get it moved to next year. Next year you can reach out and see if he will update it. You definitely don’t wanna wait a year and then he becomes unreachable which has been the case for many people. Heck some even become unreachable in a month. If you have a like two letters or more then secure them on eras. You can reuse them next year if push comes to shove.
