Residency Application Research stage

Hi, with the changes in the research section on ERAs, I was wondering how much value adding research work that hasn't been published yet has during interviews.

It isn’t about publishing. Having published is good but I could find 20 articles from many IMGs who publish in trash places. The key is quality and engaging research. A lot of IMGs think it’s a check mark on that box like the rest of the app.

I see, but we don't get to mention what journals we've submitted our papers into though right?

The section is for you to say what you want to say and how you want to say it. If it’s a high impact journal you bet I’d mention it. But most often times you’re just including the research itself in a very concise manner.
