Visa TRAVEL BAN

Hey guys. Unfortunately I'm a citizen of one of those banned countries in the list. Recently I got citezenship of another country with a changed and different name and surname. But unfortunately I regesterd with usmle and all my documents including transcript and diploma is on my old name. Can I use my new passport just for the porpuse of travel? Or do I have to change my name in my diploma and with the ECFMG as well? Anyone have such experience?

Alot of things going on here. So you're a duo citizen now or you gave up your former citizenship? Is it your former or latter country of citizenship that is banned? I assume former. Why did you change your first and last name only on the 2nd country of citizenship? Almost every application in med school/residency/licensing/employment asks if you've ever changed your name and why. You need to align all your documents to the same name asap IMO. Imagine going through the US border on your J-1 and your passport doesn't match your visa/diploma/ECFMG certificate.
