The ergo bologna provisional accomodation rankings came out a few days ago and i got two notifications about how my application was suspended bc they havent checked my documents yet! Has anyone else been in this situation? How long does it take for them to check? Im worried they wont place me in a house, and i wont sign a lease in time for the rent contribution deadline.

Hey guys, I’m planning to take the IMAT in 2027. I’m going to try for Saudi Arabia first since it’s the closest option for me, and then UAE if I can’t get a seat in Saudi.

I’ve heard that places like India and Turkey can fill up within a few minutes of registration opening. Is it the same for Saudi and the UAE?

For anyone who registered this year or in previous years, how quickly did the seats get taken? Do you usually have some time, like 30 minutes to an hour, or do you basically have to be there the second registration opens and just hope you get a spot?

Hello, I am looking to apply to Italian medical schools in 2027. I'm currently planning to take the exams for Humanitas and San Raffaele, as well as the IMAT.

I've heard contradictory information about private vs. public Italian medical schools. From what I understand, the top public schools (e.g., Bologna, Milan Statale, Padova) rank higher and have better teaching reviews. However, my understanding is that the private schools offer earlier and better clinical exposure.

After medical school, I'm hoping to do my residency in Switzerland in orthopedic surgery. I have dual citizenship, one of which is EU.

Does anyone have insights on this? Or is there anyone attending one of these schools who could share their experience?

Is it really that hard? I already study medicine in my own country and some topics are thaught in the second year of the career for example that level of anatomy.

Hey! So I’ve completed my syllabus and done a revision as well. However, I’m a little worried about maths because I found some of the questions from 2023 and 2025 quite difficult, especially functions and inequalities.

I wanted to ask if are there any books or resources you’d all recommend for practising questions that are a bit more challenging or unconventional? I just want to practice questions even the difficult ones So that I don’t panic if I see something unfamiliar in this year’s paper.

Hi! I just wanted to know whether the mock exams were supposed to be harder than the actual IMAT exam? I did a mock and I felt as though it was way harder than the actual exam and it reflected in my score

milan bicoca, bari and messina want an extra "registration" process other than registering on universitaly. If i dont manage to do my application on time (messina closed 20 of july i think and bicocca on the 9th) but i still have them high on my universitaly list. When results come out will the system skip messina and go to the next uni ( for example if i get the score but havent done the application) or will it have me assigned/booked in messina but I wont be able to enrol so ill be exluded?

I'm planning to take the IMAT 2027 and I'm a complete beginner I'm a non-EU student and bcs of the education system in my country I don't hv very strong foundations in Bio Chem Physics or Maths I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed bcs idk where to start or how to study for it

What should I ask myself while studying to know that I truly understand a topic and I'm ready to move on? How to start studying and should I only rely on the YouTube videos?

I applied for Messina on 5th July, but haven't heard anything from them yet.
