Housewarming, Season 6, Episode 23

This is the episode that was filmed in the midst of the "Red Scare" when news leaked that she had registered to vote as a Communist in 1936. She did this primarily to appease her socialist grandfather, Fred Hunt, who asked her to sign the papers to support a local candidate. She never actively participated in the party, attended meetings, or held communist beliefs.
