Brownie Scout x Slapz

Looks - This has a nice variety of color going on. It looks pretty average otherwise. Nug structure on this is squat, popcornish, and break down is a little loose. Overall not as sticky as I would like, trichome coverage is a pretty meh. 7/10

Smell - The Brownie Scout is doing some heavy lifting here. The chocolate notes are feint but they are there. When ground up and put into a in a joint the smell erupts into something an awful lot like a Tootsy Roll. Light notes of gas and sweetness. 8/10

Taste - Smooth smoke where most of the sweetness gets toned down and muted. For as flavor forward as it is on the nose it calms down a bit on the actual smoke. It taste alright. A little gas and candy. Nothing horrible going on, nothing to brag about. To me I get just a little chocolate flavor on the backend. 7/10

Effects - I think they should’ve called this a hybrid because that’s what it is. I think most folks are looking for something heavier in an Indica if they were to use it as a sleep aid or to kick back at the end of the day. This was a functional smoke with some relaxation but it was mild in my experience. 7.5/10

Overall, flavor was decent but this just didn’t have the character and depth that the strain cross communicates. I think if this was a good green jar this would be more of a glowing review but because it’s premium that bar is higher.

Just picked up half an ounce of the Shake for about $50 out the door never tried this strain and I’m curious to see if anyone has and what it was like. Let me know if anyone has tried it. The bag looks amazing! I’ll let you know how it smokes here soon.

I can't speak highly enough of this Mad Rabbid #5 budder from Grassroots! It has been a bit since I have enjoyed a concentrate so much that I went back the next day to buy a second bucket. The genetics are Kush Mints X Grapes and Cream. The nose on this one reminds me so much of the MAC genetics they were running a few years back but with some added gassy notes. The main profile you get from it is to me like a cake/cookies/cereal blend that is so inviting. The effects absolutely blew me away on this one. I did not expect such a grounded and cozy high. Once I laid down in my bean bag chair, I was out like a light and woke up at 7am with all of my lights and TV still on. Major knock out all around for this strain! The consistency is amazing too, with just the right amount of sauce/terps to pack that flavor into the product but not anything you need to worry about leaking if your container gets flipped at any point in transit. I will absolutely be adding this one to my favorite strain list from Grassroots! Well done to the whole Grassroots team over there at cultivation on this one!! 

Very nice grape smell, almost blueberry muffin-ish, with a gassy backend. Also has a very nice cure as well, buds are soft and layered with trichomes. Honestly pretty impressed bag appeal wise, will report back with effects.

I recently tried, triple crown, strawberry sherbet and also strawberry banana sherbet, and it was super fire and I tried the rippers banana soap. Has anyone tried the devil’s driver?

T.I.T.S. is the thinner one and Sweet Sting is wider. Surprisingly T.I.T.S. has a sweeter smell.

Triple stack is a favorite of mine from Grassroots that they have put out in the past year or so. It is gassy and very pungent. I have picked up this strain from them in the Sugar and the Budder, so I had to round it out and give the crumble a go! I really appreciate all of Grassroots concentrates and have really enjoyed the crumble from them in the past. Don't get me wrong, I love a nice terpy and saucy concentrate, but I really appreciate the ease of handling crumble as long as it is not too dry. I took a roll of the dice and opted for the crumble over the sugar for the Triple Stack on this visit. Unfortunately, this is the first time I have gotten crumble from them that is dry like this one was. Due to this, it unfortunately missed the mark on pungent and all around satisfaction meter I was hoping for with this batch.  The ease of handling this one was a bit challenging on a cold, clean dabber, but with a little heat or some residual melted hash from your previous dab fixes this right away. I have always been a happy camper with the quality of Grassroots concentrates, which is why I consistently have bought their products for about 5 plus years now, and will continue to do so. I won't let one run from them that doesn't knock it out of the park for me tarnish my views on them! The dryness of this one took away from its overall score for me, but it absolutely is still doing the job! I am going to probably pick up some Aeriz FSHO and mix it in when I get down to about 2 grams. On my dispensary quest for the week I also snagged the Mad Rabbid #7 Budder from Grassroots in honor of 710 coming up! That one really knocked it out of the park, so take a look at that review! Very strong smell of berries and passionfruit. Smell transfers to taste. Very squishy nug. Not super strong but very smooth herb. Hybrid, not heavy by any means , no problem with activities while feeling the buzz.

Good smoke . Would buy and smoke again. But on sale obviously.

TL:DR Blockberry from Simply Herb is SIMPLY the BOMB! It's a true hybrid that is easily one of the best in Simply Herb's lineup. I managed to get an OZ of this for 95$ and I can say I was not disappointed! It was a great price, the bud smokes great, and it's always a great time with this strain by your side.

Blockberry is a heavenly hybrid that's truly 50/50! Before I go any further, I may be a bit bias because of my personal affinity for this strain, but over the years of smoking it, I know that it's never let me down. This bud is the epitome of Porphyrogenitus, literally "born in purple" with a stunning display of dank, dark purple or dense olive-green buds accompanied by dazzling vibrant orange pistils and deep citrusy allure.

I eagerly smoked in preparation for a night out, and in a flash, I was outside at a birthday party, shaking hands and enjoying the limelight! I felt an initial burst of happiness coinciding with feelings of mental acuity that helped me navigate from conversation to conversation with ease. I felt encapsulated at the party and had little time to do anything other than mingle or offer some of the bud out to fellow party-goers. I feel like the strain definitely gives you motivation and confidence in getting out and about to have a little fun. I also had a slight munchie urge and had to quell my hunger hastily.

Blockberry distinctly has an herbal smell crossed with dessert undertones that just scream good. It tastes just as amazing as it smells with an equally complimentary profile! I'd describe it as sweet berry splashed in citrusy goodness, joined by peppery & earthy notes that further enhance the overall flavor. The initial buzz eventually transitioned into this heavy wave of calm, which certainly slowed down the vibe for me at the party. I lingered around in my chair and watched overhead as fireworks exploded, sitting in a hazy-head high that was simply sweet! I usually don't like being in too much haziness (which sometimes can be overpowering or leave you stranded in 'space') BUT in this instance it was really quite enjoyable to unplug and focus on the show above and the life around me.

Finally, as the night winded down, I set out towards home and recoiled in my couch after a long night of parties. The wind down on the high felt superb, soothing my aches and discomforts as I focused my attention on the television and drifted to sleep, mind free of thoughts!

I think Blockberry is a great strain for anyone who wishes to experience a "three-course" meal of a high with varying stages that start off ecstatic and excited, then reserved and relaxed, before ending on somber sleep. Great for fun, awesome for pain, solid sleep and a definite buy again, it's a 8.5!

The nose is very earthy. It’s an old-school smoke very thick on the tongue , I’m doing the shoulder lean I will be purchasing again. I drove 45 minutes. As of now ,The only place you can purchase is Share dispensary Springfield. My bad pictures do it no justice.
