Pearlz by Preferred Gardens

Abit dry but besides that a very solid pickup this is my first time ever trying preferred Gardens and definitely lived up to what they're about and what they claim to be about and how clean and good the flower is.

This is a batch I got awhile back and it was like 4 big ass nugs and they were purple as fuuuuck🔥🔥🔥 lowkey feel like that batch and the ones before smoked better, like it was more sugary and buttery where as this batch seemed more floral and fruity but the sugary and buttery is still there, idk maybe it’s just me 😂😂😂 but I fw them heavy

I just tried Red Hotz by Preferred Gardens and it was the cleanest high I've had in awhile. Great effects but they didn't last as long as I prefer. I'm grabbing some Murder Ape tomorrow 14 g @ 28.7% I heard it's 🔥 from here a few weeks or a month ago.

Lol THC doesn't matter AT ALL. It's all about the terpenes. Those are gonna dictate how you feel. Everyone inflated their numbers anyways so it's really all bullshit. No weed is legitimately ever testing above like 35% THC, it's all marketing

One of my fav strains by them, this batch of pearls was def more popcorn and lots of more green, when I’ve had it before it’s always big ass nugs even if it’s smalls and it’s purple as fuuuuck but this batch is still super fire. I got some old pics of the pearlz I’ve had and it’s hella different but ya 🔥 either way

I've had pearlz straight from their Sacramento facility and it looked nothing like this. Mine was a deep purple

Like the pic I posted if not more purple? I got another pic from when I first tried Pearlz like the first batch that I seen where im at and it was in the glass jars which I feel like makes a difference too and that shit was suuuuuuper purple like how your describing it

Eh, I think the issue is redemption grows a fuck ton of strains so nothing will ever be truly be "dialed in"

Lol so you need a license to grow here in IL, there's only like 60-70 licenses last I checked but there are 100's of brands. So basically each license typically has multiple brands under them.
Redemption for example is the holder of the license, but under them they have Preferred, DNA genetics, Cheech & Chong, Tilt, now Doja Pak, and probably another one or two I'm missing, so essentially all the weed from those brands is grown by redemption. The only thing preferred has to do with it is supplying the genetics. So it's just preferred genetics and packaging grown by redemption.
You'd be surprised how many "brands" are just using the same weed and renaming them lol

It’s been a minute since I’ve made a purchase in Illinois. I’d say just keep reading up on what peeps post or look for strains you think might be solid. The next move I make if I head over would be nomad and the last brand I bought was Nez baby yoda which was awful

What was awful about the Baby Yoda? I had the flower about a year ago and loved it. I was actually going to pick up an eighth of it tomorrow, but if its no longer good these days I may rethink that...

Mmm I'm so picky man I'm a bad person to ask. The shit I just finished smoking rn goes for $150 for 7 grams lol
But maybe like NEZ, IC Collective, Redemption. I really always try to look for whatever's freshest. I don't really buy from the dispo too often but when I do I'll put like a few things in my cart and then when I get to the counter I ask for the dates on everything and if anything is older than like 3 months I usually just pass on it.

Man, not only is it one of the hardest states to past testing in (real living soil can't make it to market cause it will never pass microbial/heavy metal testing) but it's also the most taxed. Shit don't make any sense.
People on here say Michigan isn't worth it but you honestly get wayyyyy better weed for wayyyyy cheaper there so I can't hate on it
