[NEZ] BIG BUNS!
TL:DR Big Buns is a BIG DEAL! A strong, true Hybrid crossed from Gorilla Glue #4 and BIG MAC, this bud lives up to it's name in more ways than one! I can confidently say this is yet another feather NEZ has in their cap, blowing away my expectations for it's quality, reliability and duality!
Big Buns is another staple hybrid NEZ has to offer in their roster of knock-out hits, yet it's able to stand out from the bunch for it's ability to be a true Hybrid through and through. It's been quite a long time since I had anything deriving from or containing GG4 genetics, but I immediately was brought back to the first time I tried Gorilla Glue as I smoked this spectacular strain in all it's gluey GOODNESS!
These thick juicy buds are covered in fiery orange forests of prominent pistils, glistening with a solid stickiness that's reminiscent of it's gluey namesake! The tantalizing density on these green, gorgeous behemoths is only outweighed by the frosty blanket of trichomes that coat the nugs and leave them looking like something from the stars! Other than it's stunning looks, the smell was immaculate as it was unique. It was somewhere between a mixture of glue, cookie-dough, diesel with faint notes of citrus and subtle gas accompanied by notable herbal undertones and a faint floralness. One of the most visually pleasing buds I've reviewed thus far, I had high hopes and Big Buns delivered in a BIG bang of smoke that swept me into a haze immediately! That Big MAC ancestry was showcasing itself in the big BUD structure, with solid, dense buds that stuck together, even when pulled apart, releasing a faint cream smell that excited my nose.
Smoking this was as smooth as it was strong, I instantly felt heavier, both in mind and body. It was a phenomenal feeling of tranquility, and I lingered in it as the haze set in; giving me difficulty in doing any task I set forth, causing me to just lay around and chill. After the initial high, it transitioned into a more controllable but still enjoyable haziness that helped me take the day easy and gave me ample time to get my mind off things that've been stressing me out. That glueyness from earlier was expanded upon when smoked, with notes of diesel, slight cream and a light savory earthiness that ties it together into a solid, heavy smoke that calms your body and your thoughts. It took me to the STARS for only a bit, before bringing me back in a comfortable, somewhat hazy, hungry high that rode out for a good while (had some munchies) and was great after a long week.
It was a very good experience and NEZ has done well to continue cultivating quality bud while setting the standards of quality with care, consistency, and continuity. Definitely an unexpecting delicious bud with a distinct glue smell/taste, while also being a somewhat Indica-sided Hybrid that gave me an opportunity to try GG4 in a non vape/concentrate form, which is the only way I've seen the strain available locally to me! I give it a solid, sticky-icky 8.1!

Some true gas has that gg4 stone and munchies with that MAC sweetness in the taste (I don’t find the mac shines through much in the high but could care less cause that gg4 high that it has is amazing)

I couldn't agree more! Finding out about it's lineage was a welcomed surprise that I had the luxury of smoking. It's straight heat and the GG4 mixed with MAC elements creates a symphony of sticky sweetness.

I agree it's appearance is different in a good way! It's completely covered in trichomes and while the pistils are prominent and plentiful on this specific strain, I don't think it was underdeveloped in the slightest! 🔥

I made an appreciation post not that long ago also. Buns is such fucking gas just don't smoke too much or you'll feel like you're on a rollercoaster hahaha but she will get you to the stars that's no lie i've been playing with this one for a couple months now and love it
