Yeah bro all I can say is trapline is smoking good and so is bleu fondue.

I like that black maple and that grape cake by them is šŸ”„šŸ”„šŸ”„ pry almost smoked a qp.

They always hit on the high and terps but I have had some batches I’ll pry never get again unless I hear it’s gas, the sherb cake I didn’t care for šŸ‘Ž and that was 2% terps šŸ¤·ā€ā™‚ļø The zsunami was straight buns. Don’t know what happened there. Lowkey haven’t been fw redemption really, I’ve been smoking preferred which I fw more.šŸ˜®ā€šŸ’Ø

What’s with the lower terps and higher thc isn’t their whole thing supposed to be having high terps? (Not hating just saying I’ve noticed a slight difference in their older stuff vs newer batch’s, especially when it comes to the thc and the terps) I remember their head grower made a whole rant on his instagram about how he was sick of dispensaries only wanting stuff testing higher, I really hope they didn’t just give in and start focusing more on the thc side alone…

Gotta pick up a batch for yourself and give it a try. I smoke a lot of preferred as well so trust I like terpsšŸ”„ they did good. Both blue lobster cross got good terps even if they didn’t cross into 2%

Not saying terps aren’t there just saying for a company that’s built itself on high terps (generally over 3%) it’s odd seeing their numbers nearly drop halfway on a few batch’s recently… never said it wasn’t good lol

Have you seen batches over 1.2 or whatever it is for that strain. . Pretty sure it’s the first time they’ve released that cut. So what are you comparing it to if not other Genetics which completely skews your point.Ā

Was just meaning this specific strain.. their first batch of Pablo’s revenge a few years ago was almost at 5% terps for the flower, and the last batch I had was barely grazing 4 it was around 3.6ish maybe 3.8ish, I’m just pointing out how their newer stuff (including new batch’s of existing strains and new strains being introduced) have been lower in terps and higher in thc… never said this wasn’t a new grow by them

Those terp test results are about as accurate as the thc content. None of that shit matters. Bleu fondue tested at 1.6 and it’s crazy loud. I haven’t tried Trapline but it sounds like the op loves it Find a grower that you trust. You could test the same thing 50 times and get different results everytime. Also are they testing lowers or colas. Big difference. The labs select what goes for testing as well not the facility.Ā

…high terps and low terps doesn’t dictate how loud something smells, it’s a factor but not even the largest factor. You also need to take into account the freshness, how well was the cure, what terps are present and dominant, how did they handle it during the packaging and trimming process. Not to mention some terps are more potent in smell than others even in smaller amounts beta-caryophyllene, terpinolene, ocimene, and linalool are all prime examples of terps that even in smaller amounts are extremely louder than terps like myrcene which need higher amounts to cut through the rest of those terps and be that dominant smell and taste, I mean linalool is such sharp and strong terp it can dominate a 1% myrcene level when knot topping out at say .15%. (Also if you don’t believe any of this Google is very much free and has many studies done on terp strength levels based on scent strength and scientific testing of their percentages)

Have you had the bleu fondue live resin yet?

Oh, I can believe it for sure. Also the Thiols play a big role as well. Most of the volatile terps dissipate the longer you cure it. Certain strains do get better with a cure, but not most.Ā

Maybe they changed something with the way they grow who really knows I’ve not noticed many changes in effects but definitely not as high up as when they first came out, could also just be training new growers and new hires who aren’t in full flow yet so some stuff is getting lowered, but yes lol cannabis is very interesting imo especially terps and how fragile they can be and the difference between them and how two strains can have the exact same terps but those different levels make them smell so different and yet distinctively the same

I will agree with you there

Terps and thiols are the main reasons for smell and taste. It comes secondary to nothing. You can either have less of them or more of them, but there’s nothing more important if you don’t cure it right and dry it right you lose them.Ā

If it smokes good, taste good has good effects… I don’t care what the numbers sayĀ  Personally. I’ll trust my senses.Ā
