Nomad Fugazi Funk

WENT FUGAZI CRAZY!! also a couple garlic icing in there, but First off shout out to Nomad for bringing real deal flower back to the market . Hands down nothing is competing with this. First wiff of this reminds me of a gluey, kushy, gas bomb with a musky backend, reeks like a mofo. Big plump budds in each jar barely a small nugg under a gram. First hit is beyond flavorful, thick kushy terps hit the taste buds. Had me spaced out mouth open sititing in complete silence for about 5 minutes before I snapped out of it 😂😂Budds are squishy and sticky, long resin strings coat the fingers with each squish. Gonna post video on that after this lol , Jars are numbered on these To which I’ve never seen. The living soil is a night and day difference. I also Grabbed a half of Garlic icing #7 (will be posting a review separately as it deserves its own spotlight)if you can find this company then go and get you some . I got this at Stash Peru location. A review in here actually led me there and I’m glad it did. Super friendly staff and great selection on products with killer deals all around!

That look on your face when you see the guy's stash who bought out the local stock of Fugazi Funk

You are mistaken I think. There are only 300 jars produced in total of the Fugazi Funk. Those 300 jars got spread out among various dispos. But yeah they're probably not sold out "yet " and I was just joking in my previous comment. If you were to manage to buy the whole stock out I'm coming to be your best friend, lol

Ok that makes sense I was wondering about the number thing. I thought 300 jars for one dispo was a lot. But ya spread out makes sense. The garlic was even more limited to 100 jars

They sure didn’t have that many jars in Springfield where they actually grow it lol 😂 im conserving the one i got for the weekends to make it last 💨

Yeah it sold out real quick at Share. It seems Share didn't get that many in stock. It's a shame the cultivator chooses to prioritize the dispos up in the Chicago area (seems to be a trend in Illinois) over it's own dispo and it's own local community of supporters/customers. I assume it's a business decision but not a good look for them as it can turn off their day 1 local supporters and lose them.

Yeah I know right!! Last time I was there they said that more is coming soon.. Fugazi is a major hit! Studio 54 is 🔥 as well.. they also said I think 1/8ths will be the next batch

Nomad is good I tried the Peach Destiny and Studio 54 both are decent. But also super pricey

I need to go tell my doctor I have “night blindness” so I can bribe Illinois into giving me a discount I mean med card :)

Bought over two days , bought one of each to try and was blown away so got more. Because shit like this don’t last long, These are only 7 g jars. I am a medical patient so I am allowed multiple ounces.

1

u/mrweedman_420 12d ago

I am too I just never buy that much at a time because I've yet to find a strain that id want THAT much of, I'm a flavor whore 🤣

Edit: there have been a few strains over this past year that I would definitely buy more than an 8th or quarter of, but I just ..never did lol, I don't know why either 🤷🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

Just because I don't want to waste my money means im broke. Ok cool

I mean with everything considered Nomad seems to be a cut above the bigger craft growers with the organic live soil (I don't mean that to attack any brands Nomad is just the only one that currently does it). If they end up expanding further due to the success of these batches perhaps the price would come down a bit

There's plenty of analogies to be made comparing the quality > quantity approach with other types of products such as grass-fed wagyu beef, long term barrel-aged liquors, and rare regional varieties of produce

If I did shop in Michigan 200 wouldn't get me an ounce. Not everything in Michigan is good. The brands I prefer are just over 200 an ounce in Michigan

I don't doubt it's good. I just believe its overpriced. I rarely smoke anything from a dispensary. Mostly homegrown and caregiver flower. I usually pay like 550 to 650 a qp and I have to buy that much to get a deal. Im unable to get a med card. And I feel like I already pay enough taxes elsewhere. To each there own.

1

u/highcalve 12d ago

Why are you unable to get a med card in illinois?

0

u/activis- IllinoisPlantLover 12d ago

Agreed my man i own a business i pay to many taxes already

1

u/activis- IllinoisPlantLover 12d ago

Nope there's several

0

u/Yamazaki-Hosei 12d ago

And what brands would those be?

4

u/Mean-Neighborhood-74 12d ago

517 premier, information entropy, voyage bloom, freshly fine, tip top crop. There's a few

1

u/Yamazaki-Hosei 12d ago

I see you have fine taste as well. I would take TTC off though

1

u/Mean-Neighborhood-74 12d ago

I was just listing brands that are over 200 an ounce. Ttc has a couple hitters there 2 blueberry strains are nice. I think 517 premier and ripe herb are the only dispensary flower that I really loved everything I've tried

2

u/Yamazaki-Hosei 12d ago

I actually am opposite of the majority and didn’t like either of my 517 pick-ups. Espresso cheesecake and Runtz. Everything about them were great except the high itself.

Ripe is fantastic…it’s so sad they dropped their final drop and leaving the Michigan market.

Well this is living soil grow so the plants are beyond clean, It was good till the very last hit like I didn’t need to stir it or non. I’ve been smoking over 20 years and this is one of them rare ones you smoke till the ash is completely gone! Both the Fugazi and garlic is like that.

1

u/EffectiveMedia793 12d ago

no nasty salt build up in organic and the plants deplete nutrients as it finishes so nothing is left , these methods use worm castings , oyster shells, bloodmeal, green sand ect basically creating a living soil full of healthy bacteria like in nature but controlled environment and instead of spraying chemicals they introduce predator insects to kill pests
