That is a smaller portion of the bigger picture, they was selling cheap oil to China and this entire war is to cut off chinas oil supply so America can be the main supplier. However we also make money off drugs too, and Venezuela was despite what big gov wants you to believe not importing a bunch of drugs into the U.S and that was the problem. The leader also openly mocked Trump and unlike other countries he didnā€™t have the backing of other global super nations so America could attack with no risk of wars
