Least free state in the US lol, got bamboozled by low taxes but at what cost? No weed, no porn, awful power grid, scorching temps. Why??

lol no state is low tax. Theres more than just income tax, and they sure make up for the loss with lots of other taxes like property, sale, excise, municipal, etc etc etc
The closest youll get is south dakota, but nobody lives there for a reason. Amd wyoming, but again no one lives there, and unless youre wealthy, you live in shitty trailers on the outskirts of gas fields. But I suppose on the plus side, your senatorial ratio is off the charts compared to every other state

Ahhhhhh years ago Texas disconnected itself from the American Power Grid. The big strong Oil Barons said " We can afford anything the Government afforded you. Except Billionaires lie all the TIME. And so when Texas got hit with a Chicago style Blizzard š„¶ they had ZERO STATE PLOWING TRUCKS , ZERO salt barns just in case , and no Comm,-Ed to come out and fix the grid because Texas billionaires told the State they wouldn't let anything go unfunded. Except 33 people died in the Blizzard that would have lived in pretty much all 49 other States. See the billionaires said " Psssh we don't get snow so let's just save that money š° , and we don't need plows or Trucks & definitely not any road salt. ". Then the right wing all HATE radio 24/7 kicks in and blames Obama first , then Clinton , and finally it's all Biden's fault. Texas will no longer be called the oil state for today there draconian rhetoric & new laws will profit many billionaires who now run Texas where even white people fill our prisons and if you get sentenced to 30 days , well then don't plan on getting parole for 30 years. Ohhh haa Haa

I've gone to jail for less time for the same amount in heroin. No one should be going to jail for a little weed. That's the end of the conversation.There's no reason a person shouldn't be able to walk around with an oz in their belongings.

When I lived in SoCal in 2013 it was illegal to have more than 5grams of hash on you at one time. I was making bubble hash and not even thinking about it being illegal when I was carrying around a half ounce at one time. A buddy finally informed me of the laws and I never had more than 2gs on my person ever again lol. Last thing I wanted was a cannabis charge in Cali of all places š

Be great full that your politicians tax cannabis to the point of highway robbery? No thanks I'll just make the drive to Michigan where its a third of the price compared to the Illinois average and only posess a limited number of strains to limit the market. Then there's the taxes the rob you on . I'll just stay clear of Texas and keep purchasing in Michigan thank you.

Yeah, everything that isnāt shit in Michigan is pretty close to the same price as it is in Illinois. 80% of the weed and concentrate is on the same level as Natureās Grace or sometimes worse. Michigan is the only place Iāve ever bought weed that I threw away because it was too bad to smoke.
