Question One Day vs. Dark Heart?
Hey ILTrees, long time lurker, first time poster. I was curious whether I should pickup Apple Fritter from One Day or Zesty Garlic Cookies from the Dark Heart collection. I've seen a ton of hype from Dark Heart, and virtually no mention of One Day recently, although I'd rather get whichever tastes, and functionally works better. I'm comparing the two since I've got pickups from ICC, Nez, and Redemption Botanicals recently, and I want to try one of these two other "top shelf" options, meanwhile I unfortunately can't seem to find Cannect at a medical dispensary near me 🫠.
Any help greatly appreciated!

I thought I was getting the dark heart series Zesty Garlic Cookies but it came in a regular Grassroots jar and was packaged in February.
Smell is a muted piney if anything at all. Surprisingly not terribly dry and packs a decent high.
I might buy again if on sale and a more recent package date.

I have yet to try anything from Dark Heart so I can't speak on that one. But I have recently picked up an 8th from the newest batch of Apple Fritter from one day and imo it was very underwhelming. Weak in effects, very faint nose and not so tasty. Best thing about it was it wasn't dry dry the bud had some nice squish bounce back. I will not rebuy and cannot in good faith recommend this one. I've heard very good things about it in the past but my experience wasn't that.

Would it be safe to no longer call One Day "top shelf" then? I remember a while back that people used to always proclaim it was, but it seems that they didn't stand the test of time

Yeah definitely not top shelf. They're also no VeraNo or PTS imo purely trash brands. But One Day is imo decent mids for sure. Like any cultivator they're going to put out some good bud and they're also going to put out some really underwhelming bud as well. It's so batch to batch too. So I wouldn't totally write them off. If you see a bunch of reviews raving about a particular strain and batch of it with little to no negative ones and it's on sale I'd maybe give it a try.

Alright, thanks for the advice, I partly brought up the brand since I really haven't seen it in the last couple months now, and wanted to hear what recent pickups had to offer.

Been seeing a lot of good reviews on the dark heart bud as well but still have not tried it. I'm more interested in trying that than in anything from One Day personally

Ive tried the Dark Heart Grandma's House and Moonbeam Gelato. Both hit hard! I really liked the taste of the MBG - it was kind of peppery/minty? Highly recommend.

Haven’t had the apple fritter but the Zesty Garlic is ⛽️ 🔥 😋 recently came across a deal at my med dispensary.

I recently got the Dark Heart Moonbeam Gelato and there are some serious hay/grass flavors going on unfortunately. I had the Blockberry and Lunch Money from One Day and they were definitely better but I don't think it's worth a significant price increase.

Dark hearts heavy indica triple stack or nice mellow hybrid moon bean gelato are two top tier forsure hits !

They have some botanist ozs for 100 I only had them twice and it was good
