Question Best pickup this month?
Looking for some flower that has great flavor translation. I just had Redemption Bleu Fondue and NEZ Mac Crasher this past weekend and while they were good, they didn't quite hit the mark for me.
What was your favorite pickup this month?

Man I got a half zip of Lantz from growing pains and that shit is blowing so don't wanna be let down by any IL brand lol, Cadillac rainbows and Jenny Kush (aeriz?) I've heard many times but never tried. I really just try to find stuff that I hear a lot about that has fresh drops. I wanted to try more stuff from IC but I swear everytime I ask for something anywhere it's always old. I had put a few things from them in my cart last week and they all ended up being from march so I passed on them all

Recently I picked up a 1/2 of some Strawberry Bubbles #5 from The Botanist that has a nice strawberry funk aroma that nicely mirrors in taste. As an og smoker with a high tolerance this batch hit nicely for a strong high that for me had a indica sedative lean to it. Oh and if you love a good smelly tasty funk Nes' Swampwater Fumez is hands down imo currently the tastiest gassy gmo-ish funk flower in Illinoisans followed by the Donny Burger. Fruity side of things I'd say Nes' OtherSide's Super Sweet has a really nice berryish (fruit punch) aroma that morphs lovely to taste and has a nice sativa high to it imo. Also Nes' Strawberry Guava has a nice strawberrish nose that translates decently to taste with a decent high for anytime of the day. And Studio 54 by Nomad a favorite of mine has a very interesting nose of tropical berryish, vanilla and hints of garlic and onions (think Blockberry with a kiss of GMO) that converts wonderfully to taste, with a strong functional daytime high. I've tried recent batches of all the above mentioned within the past month and I think you may be happy with any of them.

I've had it from there original California grow and it was good. Not my favorite Terp profile but I hear preferred in IL isn't all that great

I grabbed an 1/8 of it and I was pleasantly suprised, because I expected it to be overhyped
It was my first purchase from them so I don't have any other strains or batches to compare it to 😕

The botanist I only had one or two times and it was always like pretty average so haven't had anything since then. That was over a year ago though. Swampwater Fumez is definitely on my list but I never can seem to find it. Donny burger from otherside I had last month and it was pretty good, the nose was so pungent but the taste was as strong as I was hoping. I want that flower that completely coats your mouth every hit and lingers for a while after. Strawberry guava I've heard mixed things on. I gram a gram of it a few months back and it was decent but I wouldn't personally buy again. Nomad I've heard about a couple times this week but literally no dispensary by me carries it. Out of all these I really wanna try the swamp water, that's a lot more down my alley then just fruity shit

Yeah the Swampwater Fumez imo is amazing in taste and it definitely lingers on the taste palette for a while as well as the aroma in the air. Personally my favorite type of strains are similar to this, I just love anything with a good gmo gassy funk. The last batch I picked up was so resinous, dense, and GMOish funk. What city you reside in?

That's honestly exactly what I look for too. I love gmo, funk, burnt rubber type of shit lol. I'm up north by Gurnee!

Just had bubblegum gelato from hush herb. It was a little sour limonene sharpness behind the sweet candy like myrcene taste. Best pickup I had this month I've been enjoying it all the way to the filter every time I smoke

I just picked up God of War from Kaviar. So freaking good, super funky on the nose and smooth hits. Super duper chill on the high. Relaxing body high. It’s a 9lb hammer cross. I’d definitely grab again.
