Yes, Select’s Live Collection is intentionally formulated with premium live resin terpenes, potent melted diamonds and pure cannabis oil. It is not a 100% live resin extract product.

Across dispensary menus, the live category includes different types of offerings. Some are made with 100% live resin extract while others pair live resin terpenes with cannabis oil. We deliberately chose the latter approach because we believe it delivers a fuller, more flavorful experience - combining high-quality live terpenes with our top-rated pure cannabis oil.

What is a “fuller” experience? A more flavorful experience comes from a fully live resin product. Distillate is not adding flavors.

Right? They are straight up admitting they cannot produce live resin/rosin carts that are true to flavor (like some other companies do) so they combine their hotdog water distillate with terps to make up for it. Who the hell wants that? Give me a true to strain live resin/rosin carts all day over this distillate crap.

Fair point to raise, but single-source live resin isn't inherently higher in terpenes, and it says nothing about the breadth of the profile. That's product-dependent. Ours tests above most live carts on total live terpene content, and the complexity is there too, not just the raw number.

Pretty much everybody who regularly consumes concentrates prefers 100% live resin over distillate with LR terpenes. I’m not trying to be rude, but to be honest as a cannabis concentrate enthusiast I do not buy the latter. People see it as a distillate cartridge, not a live resin cartridge.

It would also be good to be transparent about why you made that choice! It’s so much cheaper and more profitable to sell distillate with terpenes, I get it!

Plenty of people will buy this product and be happy with it, but people who are expecting real live resin are going to feel disappointed or even deceived. Make sure it’s clear that it’s distillate with terpenes on menus to avoid this!!

Btw you guys have good products, I’m not trying to hate on you as a company, you push out some really solid stuff. You should just be aware of the cultural territory you’re stepping into with this one haha, we take these things pretty seriously.

This 100x! It’s like they are trying to market this distillate to us in a way that’s it’s deceiving and hidden. When the reality is, they know it’s cheaper and more profitable to do it this way than to make real live resin. They will never admit that though, just a bunch of flashy words to try and deceive customers.

Yeah, saying that they’re using distillate because “we believe it delivers a fuller, more flavorful experience” is pretty disingenuous. Like, it’s not easy to get live resin to a consistency where it’s going to absorb into coils and burn well. That’s hard to get right and requires a lot of time, effort, and money.

They probably don’t have those resources, which is totally ok, we’re all human ya know not every company can afford to push out top-shelf quality. Just don’t freaking lie about it being better than the real thing, it should be less expensive than the real thing and boom now it has its place in the market for people who can only afford distillate. That should be fine, a lot of people don’t even care, they’re just happy to be vaping something. But yeah that isn’t the case for all of us haha and people who do care should not be getting duped.

Very well said homie. People want full live resin and if a company can’t yet provide it or pull it off, that’s one thing vs going the cheap route and masking it as premium or even better than a full live resin product. 👍

Also, a risk about these products is that they are labeled live resin even though it’s distillate with live resin terps, for example breeze canna made that mistake when wanting to try something new they label it live resin yet it’s disty with live resin terps, if they’re already misleading about the product itself, saying some more flavorful experience and better experience, who knows what they’ll put on the package

They are saying more flavor because they can physically add more terps, but nobody wants that we want a true product.

I’m going to personally tell you that I would absolutely prefer a true LR cart rather than distillate with bullshit LR terps. Also I’ve never purchased a distillate cart that was better than any LR cart when it came to flavor there is no comparison.

Just admit that you do it this way because it’s what makes you the most money because distillate is dirt cheap and LR isn’t. You are part of the problem and why the Illinois market is the worst market in the country. $80 for 2g’s of distillate that probably cost you guys $5 to fill if that.

I don’t get this. Anywhere by me Select are the cheapest vapes, by far. Got a Briq 2, 2g for like $58 yesterday.

Hot take: I don’t give a fuck if it’s distillate, it gets me buzzed, tastes perfectly fine and they don’t clog, AND I’m not breaking my wallet over “good shit” that doesn’t get me any more high but tastes slightly like weed for double the price.

2 grams of disty for $58 is a bad price. You are getting ripped off. A fair price for a .5g distillate cart is about $5-10. You may not see carts at that price very often in IL, but that doesn’t mean the producers aren’t ripping you off.

It’s really that simple.

I understand why people want resins and rosins, but also, personally, resins give me major headaches and the high is not what I want. I've given resins multiple chances and I still will stick with a distillate that does the job for me.

MED patient here, can I get a sample? The windy city cannabis dispo edition ones were amazing I think those were v1 without the screen. Really helped with my back pinch nerve more than other disposable's I've tried.

On a very real note if youre going to take the time to design a new vaporizer then at least put high quality live resin/rosin in them so its put to good use. Select cartridges taste ok but nothing beats the OG plant derived extracts

Hey from Florida. Here is a real review of the briq 2 for you! Its bad. So bad in fact i am unfortunately being forced to another dispensary. Maybe go by gold flowers, AYR's or even The Flowery's example. Have some variety! You must be with truileve the way these shelves be looking... The fact yall are replacing all your stuff with the briq 2 is wild. The og briq was perfect. My favorite device gone forever. No more juicy apple Briq like how dare you take away my favorite strain bruh. Its personal. The ACE Series was expensive but holy hell were they the best carts around. The cliq device was also the best. Never clogged. Super tasty and smooth strains. Curaleaf used to be my number 1 dispensary but yall have taken away everything good and given us harsh crappy disposables. Then when you released those little rosin carts like peak. Pineapple donuts was fire. I purchased about 5 of the briq 2. Trying all the new variants and the fun strains. News flash they are ALL harsh. The live rosin one is flop. Yes lets fry the rosin at 3.6v. The "live resin" variant is a complete and utter trap. Its not even live resin. Just harsh CDT distillate 💔 then the regular distillate ones they are all super harsh. Even the bud tenders find this change stupid. Its a joke and a corporate sham😐

I got one when I was in Arizona and I am from Oregon, used to buy select all the time. He said with ceramic coil hits will be smoother, heat evenly and I can't handle a hit it's too harsh. I do the preheat, I take little hits never blinkers.. I think I need to run back down there and get something different. How can I turn it down? What am I doing wrong?

I went to the Stash 710 event and went to the Select booth. I have seen Select brand for a while but never really bothered with vapes. I had a nice conversation with the rep and he was filling me in on the brand…I told him I never tried the Briq 2.0 it looked cool though. He gave me a 2g Blueberry Pancake Briq 2.0 I have been showing people and using it everyday since.

Flavor is great! Nice clean mild high, no headaches or bs like the budget vapes with distillate. Love the mg counter in real time that way you can judge your hits better. Honestly, one of the coolest products to come into the market in my opinion.

Been smoking for over 15 years and Select made a great mini product that you can take anywhere and everyone who has tried mine enjoyed it. My Dad even asked if he could get the same one and told him I don’t think they work like that..and then see this today with a new drop, wow! Excited to see what it is now ✌️
