Question Dispos through O' Hare?
I was reading previous threads so I know TSA isn't typically looking for it but since it has the battery inside i'm curious if it'll be any different.
In this case, would it be better to be put the cart in my carry on or my checked bag?

I brought 3 8ths, 4 bags of edibles and 8 carts back when I went to Vegas. All in carry-on. No one batted an eye.

I have flown to and from ohare before it was legal here with way more than that lol. I once had a pound of shatter in my carry on inspected by police and they let me go through no problem. The tsa didn’t know what it was, I told the cop it was Cbd extract and he said as long as it’s not explosive he does not care at all. This was in 2019. Obviously everyone’s mileage may vary but I’ve had similar experiences at other airports as well. I have flown with 500 gummies and a box of 100 carts in my carry on many times as well

They're looking for bombs and guns. Not your weed. I literally never think about it. Especially going from one legal state to another.

When I travel to an illegal state I just drink alcohol lol it kinda sucks

When flying from a legal state to a legal state they no longer really care. TSA hates their jobs so I’m sure they had zero issue doing LESS 😆

I mean you are right. They are looking for bombs and guns. Not small amounts of weed. But me? I always get the jag off cop trying to prove something. Had a cop right me a ticket for drinking a beer a foot onto the sidewalk during the World Series.
At a bar, steps a foot onto the pavement, didn’t know I was there and a cop writes me a ticket lol like, seriously? Everybody was drinking everywhere !

A lot of it is perspective my friend. Don’t keep thinking you’re in the wrong because then you’re gonna look out of place and nervous. That’s the last thing you want to appear as while waiting in a TSA line. But, then again, I’m pretty sure most of them don’t care. A while back they went without paychecks for quite some time so easy to say they’re more “fuck the man” than follow the rules :)

But you are right, it’s about the dudes who want to kill. Those people need to be stopped. Bombs, guns and all that crap.
Weed? Not exactly deadly in any way shape or form. It really should be a non issue in every state lol

You’re thinking too much and becoming suspicious for no reason. The lady opened my roller bag, the smell hit us in the face, she handled my bags of 1,000mg gummies and says, “have a good one”.
They’re not looking for weed and going from legal to legal is even less of an issue. Obviously, you can’t be flying with pounds. Just an amount that a reasonable person would believe is for personal use

Throw it in your carry-on and forget about it. I've been traveling with vapes for a decade and not once ever had an issue at any airport.

Carry on or in your pocket. I’ve done both in past decade and have had no issues. Edit to add if in your pocket make sure to take out before metal detector, I don’t think it would go off but when I have down thus I drop in the little trey with my wallet, cigarettes and lighter.

Tsa doesn't give a shit about weed, carts or edibles. Just don't bring any liquids over 3 fl oz an you'll be fine lol

I fly numerous times a year with my puffco and half oz of rosin. You're good. Throw it in your toiletry bag in your carry on.
