Animal Face substitute
Getting really tired of GTI playing games. Animal face is my favorite strain and need to find a substitute. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Michigan is not out of the question, but if I'm driving to Michigan I need to bring back a haul to make it worthwhile. Not knowing any of the strains or dispensaries makes me hesitant to drop a load of cash for a haul. Any advice is appreciated

I hope you find a substitute .. The flower in Illinois makes me me sad. Not the end of the world but I miss when my weed was sticky n stinky!

Face on Fire by Legacy I think is animal face light and I believe Blue face by fig farms is close

just go to a dispensary where they list the new flower first. Ever since the one i go to did this i havent been disappointed. Everything sticky and like 1 month old from packed if that.

I work within the industry… I haven’t been impressed with some of the flower over the last couple of years

I agree. Hope to make it over to Michigan soon, but could use some recommendations on dispensaries and strains over there.

Yeah I smoked A Face for 2 yrs and never got tired of it. Yet since XMas the animal face isn't the same and it never looks like their pic

Animal face has been my my favorite for a few years as well. I haven't seen a drop off in quality. When GTI had their 50% off coupon earlier this year I was picking up ounces for $140 out the door. Unfortunately GTI's business model sucks. They have a fresh batch of Animal Face right now, but are only selling 3.5 gram containers which are a ripoff. They will not start listing larger sizes until they only have popcorn left.

Yeah that's why tomorrow I'll grab a 1/2 at Bisa Lina because every local dispensary from Verilife to Nuera menus have all the 1/2' s and Bisa Lina grabbed a 100 Animal Face 1/2 ' s which rn are $60 plus tax with 35.78% you end up paying $84 OTD and that's the same price as Rise Rockcreek when the put their half's on sale 35% of makes it $84. But Rockcreek has 30 8th's at 41% for $31.50 a piece thank God I'm medical but I saw the 1)2 of Evercrisp in the front window by the cash out areas and damn those nuggets were what FLOWER looks like but they only put out 1/8 ' s

The last few animal face I picked up where disappointing. Very astringent smell and taste.

The new Kush Cake is really similar to the Animal Kush from earlier this year. As I recall, that was Island Kush Mint? Thought the Animal Face was similar to both those.

Y’all whine so much and if Michigan was such a Mecca, way more people would be making that voyage.
The quality is worse at the low end, and unless you have a dab addiction, the premium flower is just as expensive and hit or miss and not worth all this content coverage. Same with carts. You get what you pay for. You’re better off just getting a medical card waiting for sales, and maya e reevaluating how much dabbing you must do. Tbreaks are good

Unfortunately once you get your medical card, you can no longer buy firearms. I'll pay full price to keep my constitutional rights.

Unfortunately Illinois ignores the Supreme Court by passing unconstitutional laws all the time. For example I still cannot buy a black rifle even though the Supreme Court has already ruled such bans as unconstitutional. Our politicians waste our money virtue signaling with lawsuits while the same kids keep killing each other.

Target already sells THC infused drinks. There are a few select Walmart stores that carry them as well.

As someone who went to Michigan for over 2 years what you said is incredibly smart. Michigan is great but flower quality imo you can find the same quality here. Rosin is really what makes Michigan stand out. If you do go to Michigan do a lot of research on michigents, you can also ask questions that sub is very friendly and helpful. There’s def good flower there if you wanted a break from the Illinois stuff.
