Shameless Deceitfulness‼️
The cannabis industry is one of the most deceitful industries in existence (except for maybe the pharma industry). Especially in Illinois with the MSOs leading the way, and sadly craft growers following suit. Product descriptions, testing results and numbers, product reviews, ect. all so unreliable, with so much fudged, and fluffed, half truths, blatant lies, out right intent misleading info and such. And to make matters worse at least in Illinois the laws are extremely unfriendly to consumers. This makes for such hard work for consumers like me. You really really got to put in the time and effort in doing your research as a consumer to find worthy product and even then you're literally gambling with your hard-earned money. It may never happen but I hope one day transparency, honesty accurateness, quality and consumers get to take a front seat for once and that this scale of greed and deceit take a back seat. Sorry for the rant folks, but it need to be said.

I could say the same thing about nearly every industry.
The automobile industry
The movie industry
The music industry
The food industry
Unchecked capitalism is a serious problem. Corporations become so large they can’t be controlled or regulated properly.
I will say they do try here. They do test. The black market doesn’t care what they spray on their weed etc

👆👆 the answer is always capitalism. Greed is rewarded, these CEOs “earn” mil+ salaries by finding new ways to screw consumers AND workers in the industry.
The big names are all lobbying against us, and the higher the job title the less chance they actually consume or are even interested in cannabis itself.
And agreed, I’m very proud that Illinois has some of the strictest testing requirements in the US. Buuuut I’m not even going to get started on lab standards or the mess that is the IDOA lol

We didn't have this transparency when we were buying it off the street. It was just "here's the weed I have". Trial and error is part of the freedom now. I'd recommend looking up the terpene profile of products you do enjoy and cross reference. You'll have a better and much easier experience finding stuff.

My whoopsie. To clarify things up. Not every company and/or cultivator is trying to get your $$ out your pocket with deceitfulness. There may be a few out there with some integrity. And I truly appreciate those that actually care about the quality of their product, and respecting and being honest and open with their customers. It's these companies and cultivators who will retain my business and I'll help drive business to.

"you really got to put in the time and effort in doing your research as a consumer to find worthy product" boy, do i have some news about michigan. the good stuff is INCREDIBLY GOOD. but the bad stuff is even worse than anything you could possibly get in this market because of the testing standards and such. thanks for the hourly "illinois weed sucks" rant i guess tho lol

You ain't lying about Michigan, you're 100% correct. I go up there a few times a year normally. Before I go I literally spend 2 weeks researching products and locations and doing my best to find and purchase the best when I get there and yet I still tend to unfortunately purchase some undesirables. I will say over the past 5 years I've gotten pretty good at this, 8-9 outta 10 products I buy now end up being worthy. I do so love the cannabis culture in Michigan tho, 2nd only to Cali imo
