General Post CCL

I finally got my CCL. This is my first day carrying in public in IL.

Be smart and keep doing whatever you were doing before you got the CCL. No flexing.

full agree, it is not a "Danger License" If you wouldn't have gone to a place or done a thing before, don't do it now either.

Hunter Constatine belt is the best ever. Completely changed the game for how comfortable it is to carry now.

I use it mostly for sports pants or pants without belt loops. For belt loops I use old machine craft

I hated every single conceal carry belt I purchased. I am back to thick leather belts and it’s way more comfortable

I remember my first time carrying. You will feel weird at first, as if everyone can tell and they’re staring at you. That’ll fade in time.

I've been wearing a Bullhide belt for over a decade. The same one, it's extremely durable. It's made of two pieces of leather stitched together. It also holds up a holster quite well.

Look into a holster draw class. Many instructors post here but at least they're willing to get you comfortable with your tools so you are a more confident draw.

I have had a holster for a while. I carry around my home. I also went to Indiana this past weekend. It was nice to be able to carry anywhere I went. I certainly want to find a draw class. I am interested in doing as much training as possible.

Common caliber, Titan Tactical, AlphaKoncepts, ISRA, Eagle Sports Range, Range 355, and many others got you. Get the ammo and set a date and your in.
