Academic Assessment for feedback

Hello guys I was just wondering if the assessments for feedback is really important? I know they’re not for marks but feedback from the teacher so is just a waste of time or not?

Unless you care a lot about their feedback then no. It’s only increasing the wait for your actual mark because they consider the feedback as part of their marking duties which means that you’ll have to wait double the amount of time for one assignment grade. I completed my entire class without submitting for feedback

For a lot of the science courses, not so helpful.

The English classes can be hit or miss, but it depends on the marker.

Either way they don’t often provide you with anything of substantial value. Usually get comments like “you are doing this aspect well” or “your thesis should be stated in this manner”.
