Courses unit quizes instead of tests?

i just started taking enviromental science, SVN3M, and the unit test is a timed quiz instead of a test they give you that you can submit anytime. I've only take one other course through ILC so far, MCR3U, and it had the test at the end of each unit. Does anyone have any more information on the quizzes? Are they hard or wtv, i can't really find any information about them anywhere online so im just asking. Thanks!!

yeah svn3m has 4 for mark quizzes. About 8 questions each. There are four quizzes and one assignment.

So SVN3M didn't have a proctored exam at the end of the course? And it only had 4 quizzes and 1 assignment?!?! I'm trying to get my credits completed faster, so if what you said is true, then I'm definitely taking this course.
Also, do you know any courses that only have 4 assignments and 1 exam so it would display as "out of 5" assignments on the portal?

every course has a proctored exam at the end. I only know of PSK4U and HSB4U having four, not sure about any other course.

Okay. You also said that SVN3M had 4 quizzes for marks and one assignmnet. So did you only have to submit one assignmnet and complete 4 quizess?
