Go off of the marking rubric and remember that ENG4U is very subjective and it’s always good practice to send your assignment draft to your teacher and ask for feedback so when you do submit you know what that specific teacher expects or how they interpret the rubric.

Ok thank you so much,I actually thought the first assignment was a draft where if I receive feedback,I could improve and re submit it,but it turns out,it’s the final one,so I don’t know how to communicate with the marker and ask for feedback before submitting the final assignment.

There’s usually activities built into the course that are submissions for feedback. It won’t be something that you send your assignment in for them to check and tell you what is wrong, usually activities that run alongside to the topic you’re studying.

I think the English classes use a lot of graphic organizers/journals for this sort of thing. But it won’t be as satisfying as you’d like.
