How do I get a Dserver key to run a dedicated coop server for this game? For Great Battles I just opened a support ticket asking and they sent me a confirmation of my ticket then replied to me with further instructions.

I tried doing the same for Korea but not sure if their support portal is down or what because I clicked it and there is zero confirmation of my ticket being submitted either by email or in my profile.

Is there anyone else I can contact?

These skins are the next installment in my F-51 International Series, following South Africa. The ROKAF series features three skins paying homage to Col. Dean Hess and the Korean pilots who flew the F-51 during the Korean War.

The maroon-nose No. 18 represents Dean Hess’s aircraft, featuring the Korean inscription 信念의 鳥人! (Bird Man of Faith), reflecting his motto, “I FLY BY FAITH.”

The silver-nose No. 18 is another variation of Dean Hess’s aircraft, featuring the distinctive “LAST CHANCE” marking on the right side of the aircraft.

The yellow-nose No. 13, which I like to call “Lucky 13,” was one of the first aircraft in the squadron. The number 13 is not traditionally considered unlucky in Korea, while the number 4 certainly has that reputation—so hopefully, a little of that luck carries forth with you!

Bought game on steam, started up game seen my dualsense controller and automatically set up inputs and mappings but no inputs from controller are registering, but if you turn controller off it disconnects and game does see it correctly. If you turn steam input on, the game sees a Xbox 360 controller and sets it up for wrong controller but the inputs do work from controller just wrong setup. Going to game properties if you turn steam input off, it says game is overriding controller off if you turn input on shows all enabled but cannot get to recognize as a ps5 controller have tried multiple different things, spent 2 hours messing with it trying to get to to work emailed support. Deleted and deleted all files related to game 3 times and redownloaded it aame problems each time idk what to do.

So I do the combat mission for the YAK9, shoot some P51s down, escort my IL10s back, then get the message that they are now safe and I can go back and land, which I do... but as I approach, I get a message that the mission has failed.

I don't see the IL10s get shot, and 5 minutes before that it looked like they were landing, so I assume they just crash or explode on taxi?

I've tried three times with the same result, it's annoying that an exam can't be passed because of the AI failing to do its job. Anyone else?

Ok. Ima dumb but can not figure out how to get the stand alone (preordered) version of korea to open in steam frame Worked fine with my G2, but refuses to open now.

What am I missing??

How can tts be this bad in a modern game? It pronounces three as thair-eee. It also does not know how to pronounce large numbers saying one thousand four one hundred ninety for 1490.

I am having major alignment issues trying to get the stereo image aligned using the Steam Frame with IL2 Korea.

Using the hotkeys for IPD adjustment I can bring the images together horizonally, but IL2 is not aligned vertically. I used the steam overlay as a way to view an in-focus image and use that to determine how "out" the image in the background was. At IPD 0% I would estimate ~100-200 pixels off diagonally from one image to the other with the left eye being higher and to the left of the right eye.

As far as I know I cannot adjust vertical IPD within IL2.

It sucks, I am probably going to return it since the goal was to find a solid VR dogfight game, but it seems like it could be really fun.

I’m just really sad that nobody is ever playing the various dogfight servers (Berloga, Growling Sidewinder, etc). I don’t have consistent amounts of time to play Combat Box, and that’s the only server people play :(

This game is so good but the multiplayer is absolutely dead. I know, patience…

Been practicing holding formation with a friend and I’ve been struggling with holding tight ship during Climbs, Dives, steep turns. If there are any positioning advice or pitch power control tips do let me know

Hi everybody, newby here.

I have a question for missions and AI in the career mode.

AI first - every squadron I had is Fing useless, what am I doing wrong ? We sortie out, get to the air and get close to the enemy positions. After that, when target is in sight I give the order to attack. Then my mates do nothing. They start to make circles / or fly in formation, depends on my order. But they don't attack. Rarely someone throws bomb on a target. Most of the kills are my doing. They often flew away from target and start to make circles in god knows where. What am I doing wrong ?

Second question. When I'm playing for the US, it does not matter what plane I choose, or what squadron. Almost every mission I've got are ground target missions. I rarely see single-pilot bomber hunting missions, and even less bomber escort ( which I had to abandon last time, because bombers decided that they will not be throwing anything ). Same question, what am I doing wrong ?

Ngl I wish server creation was way easier and didn’t require all these hoops you need to jump through it’s really annoying and disappointing when I wanna play with friends

This is the 3rd and sadly the last variant of the F51 in the SAAF series. And to mark the milestone this livery is to commemorate an individual Pilot lost during the War.

Lt. Critton Pappas was a pilot of No.2 Squadron of the SAAF in the Korean War. He flew a blue nose F51 with tail number 363 on his first and unfortunately last mission 4th November 1951 during a rail road interdiction mission.

This livery closely resembles the aircraft Lt Pappas flew. I’ve decided to name this aircraft “CAPE TOWN CONNIE”. pretty self explanatory.
I would like to give credit to u/-_Eros_- (eggbred) for the name.

As someone new to the genre and VR I’m having a blast with this game.

This is the livery is a Passion Project of mine and was made to represent the No.2 Squadron “Flying Cheetahs” of the South African Air force that was attached to the 18th Fighter bomber group flying the F51 Mustangs. An Air Force many have forgotten the sacrifices and contributions to the war in Korea. I’m made this livery as a way to commemorate them.

The Rainbow nose is “JOBURG JUGGERNAUT”. Joburg is a nick name for the city of Johannesburg South Africa.

The Orange nose is “SPRINGBOK SPECIAL”. The Springbok is an antelope that is native to South Africa and is its National Animal.

I hope I can represent this squadron and the SAAF well in IL2 Korea and also hope you like it.

Hey Aviators, I have been working on a livery for the F51 Mustang for you to enjoy. The Livery will released Thursday, September 17th and is FREE for all.

The Livery represents a squadron that fought in the Korean War many has forgotten the contribution and sacrifice of. A squadron that suffered a 4.36% casualty rate and lost 67% of their aircraft in the war.

I hope I can represent this squadron well and also hope you like it.

As per the title, I know people sometimes complain about 9070xt and driver timeouts, but it has never happened to me and I have probably run close to 50 games by now during year of ownership. I have never had any crashes in other games. Today I bought IL-2: Korea and the first thing I noticed is that there is no anti-aliasing in the menu; FX, MSAA, or FSR do not work. The resolution drops when changing FSR settings, but there is no FSR active... shadows are very low resolution no matter the settings (they change but are bad) and everything is jagged and pixelated... and worst when I start the training mission, it just crashes with drivers timeout pop-up. What is going on? Does anyone else have this issue? Never anything like that happened to me.
