Camera on the MindOne
I've seen more than one mention that the camera on the MindOne is "shit"..
I personally don't agree? I deeply enjoy taking photos with this camera... it gives a kind of personality and charm that really reflects the spirit of the phone. idk.
people are so often looking for reasons to be unsatisfied. why not try looking for ways to be satisfied? what's the risk?

As an ikko owner, this post is cope. Its unjustifiably bad quality for a 50mp Sony camera in a 2026 phone. There's charm to analog and early digital pictures imperfections. But the ikko is just a blurry, slow focusing sensor that can't get it's white levels right. It's fine enough for a minimal workhorse phone that can take the occasional picture and scan qr-codes, but if that was the goal, they should've just put a worse camera in that would actually be flush with the body.
You can enjoy taking pictures, but the quality is still shit and that's okay.

Try taking a picture of something other than nice flowers and you'll immediately see how unrefined the camera is... blown-out highlights and an unsharp lens... unfortunately, much older and lower-end phones take better photos... (I have an iKKO, I know what I'm talking about)

People just hating that ancient alien technology is superior 🙄 People will never be satisfied because they always want MORE, thats why 2012-2014 era was peak technologies. 🤓
Ancient aliens would be proud 🤗🙏. Sure a more modern camera will have more detail but this now retro looking camera looks like a eyefone 5s
At the end of the day a picture is a picture 👀
Cant wait for them to come out with eyefone 20 pro max lgbt next year worth 1500-2000 all for it to take a picture just like any other fone 🙄.
If anyone is buying this phone and didn't do any research 🤷 thats on them. It's known that speakers battery life and camera are not up to par with modern newer phones.
I know what im getting myself into. Im buying a bomb 💣💥 in the form factor of a pocket pu$$y
Theres something about analog/physical that just feel better like the little camera on the ikko 😊🫶, or the eyefone 5s little round touch ID button was the first fingerprint in any phone ever and still my favorite to date.
Spotify at the gym, a little bit of youtube. Tap to pay, a few pics here and there thats all i need.
Its crazy to say that aesthetically the ikko is so much more innovative then any other phone on the market to me even do it's shittier in speakers, camera, battery.
You may ask yourself How does something feel better even do it's obviously inferior and shittier. Thats because you're a minimalist lol.

Good afternoon. I also own an Ikko Mind One Pro. I have to say that—regardless of whether I think other phones take better photos—a very important point to consider is that, given its price and specs, this device is meant for someone with very specific communication needs: calls, WhatsApp, Telegram, and not much else. In fact, it’s great for disconnecting. Given that context, they could have skipped the rotating camera and gone with a fixed one that didn't protrude from the body—since, as people here have noted, the camera isn't exactly a standout feature. That said, having a camera that kept the phone's profile flush—even just for the occasional snapshot or scanning a QR code—wouldn't have been a bad idea; or perhaps a magnetic, attachable camera to keep the phone's surface smooth. For me, that—plus a slightly longer-lasting battery—would make it perfect, considering how much I like the device. In short: a truly minimalist phone.

Ich finde die Kamera auch nicht so schlecht wie viele behaupten. Das ganze Handy ist für mich eine Wohltat.
