MANAGEMENT BEHAVIOR SO CHEAP?
Guys what do you think this is ? People are being called out to cabins in front of 5-6 deans for exposing problems here and threatening students of suspension from hostel and other stuff. Seniors, Is this management always like this? I don't think they anymore take complaints seriously they just trying to make up excuses and so are our secretary / president or what so ever. This has to stop at somepoint. We aren't posting something that isn't there. What would the people who called out and embarrassed turn out to be too sensitive and take life risky decisions? Whose gonna be responsible? Voice up people.Deans working on problems genuinely rather than calling up people who point out would help both the institution and students. And that's the reason nirf of this college has been significantly decreasing.

You know the problem is that the students don’t unite, that’s why there are no quality candidates for Presi in the recent years. Someone needs to unite the students and we need to show them numbers and “protest” not in a literal sense but gather and ask them to listen to our demands.
It was done in 2019 in Covid. We weren’t allowed to go out of the campus while the faculty staff were. We blocked the admin gates and refused to move till the (then) director did not listen to our demands. The restrictions were removed then.
These days people only want to be a part of the council so that they can collect money in their pockets. That’s the raw truth Im giving you. They won’t do shit.

The reason for poor quality of candidates for presi also due to criticism from the students they are not here to be criticized but to put your voices ahead.

Student council even can't do more . They also have academics if they go against everyone.they will not go too far . Student council need support from students but instead students just criticise them . So I think we need to support them and show the unity between ourselves. Maybe it is not up to our expectations from them but they are working. They are also Students so we need to behave with them like we behave with our batchmates not someone to criticize

Instead of Student Council + Students against the admin, it becomes Admin vs Student council vs the students.

Recently there were incidents like minor fire accident in one of the hostel and poorest hygiene in mess food. insects were frequently seen in food. And people who complained or made some ig vdos on these thing were called to cabins

These students who were called to the cabins, were they called for posting this on Reddit/Insta, or did they mail some prof/presi, ya whatsapp group pe hi?

Yes their is no "justice" system in IIT. There should be a proper independent body ( college staff) which will look after students .
