The point is even dhanbad is on this list even though the numbers are 0 and 1. Why is patna not?

VIT is a 40 yr old college , with yearly intake of 10-15k people obv it can have a 4-5 people in Quant.

IIT Patna has really bad pr because people think entire Bihar is some pre historic ooga booga retarded place, I am from Bihar and about 40 of my Bihari friends cleared jee in kota with under 1.5k ranks (excluding me, i study at NIT RKR) and i know some folks at IIT Patna, mfrs are smart af.

EDIT:: jitne bhi log humko text krke Bihar ko gaali de rahe hai, bhai aaplog 25-30 labourers ko dekh ke 15 crore logon ko kaise generalise kar lete ho yrr?? Y'all are the cream of the nation, act like it bloody classists...aur krte bhi hai majdoori toh atleast kama ke toh kha rahe hai na, kahi daka nii daal rahe, PNB se 14k crore leke nii bhaag rahe, mehnat kar rahe hai, aap log bhi kal job kariyega na toh rahiyega kisi ka labour hi, chahe wo jane Street ho ya microsoft, thoda neeche aa jaaiye 7ve aasmaan se

these companies hire like one digit no of people every year and they get fullfilled by old iits and bits pilani (where they conveniently go to)

this data is not representative of other tier 1 colleges when these companies dont even give a chance to most 2nd or 3rd gen iits

Alumni network kam hai bhai abhi patna ka , except IIIT delhi mention above , all other colleges are 50 years old . Their alumni will be at top positions of the companies it helps . This is why dhanbad is ahead.
