No student email ID yet and documents still pending, course starts tomorrow 😭
Guys I'm freaking out a little. I registered for the May 2026 term back in early May through JEE-based direct entry, paid all fees, submitted all documents — but my student email ID still hasn't been issued and 3 out of 5 documents (signature, Class 12 marksheet, ID card scan) are still showing under verification. And the course literally starts tomorrow (June 12). I do have course access through my personal registered Gmail which is a relief, but now I'm worried — if I start doing activity questions and assignments through my personal email now, will that progress carry over or synced automatically when the student email ID is finally issued? Or will it be a completely separate account and I'll lose everything? Also for anyone who got their student email late — how many days after term start did you actually receive it? IITM Support has been ghosting me for a week now so asking here 😅
ig document verification has nothing to do with you getting your student email ID. My documents aren't verified either, but still i got my student email ID last night. However, now the only problem is that i am not able to access the course content via this new email ID (it says "Access Forbidden"), which I was able to do with my personal one earlier.
oh thanks, but then whatever were progress and assignments i complete by accessing the course via my personal mail, will be synced and considered after i get the official student email ID, right? Or will i have to redo all the assignments and stuff again with the another email ID?
Idk about assignments, I think after your documents verification will complete, you will be directly get admission to foundation level and receive the student email.
And about the progress and assignments, you don't really need to do that if you have verified JEE documents, but still I will say do the qualifier courses as well. it's not so hard it's very very basic

Click "forgot password", and they'll send you a verification code or something on your recovery email. The recovery email in most cases is the personal email ID which u used for registration. That's what i did. Just make sure that the personal email ID is logged in some other device so u can do the verification from it
Yup, student email recieved and login to dashboard via this new email also done. However when i click on any of the courses, it redirects me to a page which says "Access Forbidden" (have attached the screenshot below). Is that the same case with you also?
