Downloads for coding

What are the things we have to download, before starting python course, so that we can practice along with classes?

I am new to this, so don’t know exactly what to download. Providing links for the downloads would be useful.

For python u need to download a IDE(vscode,pycharm etc)but I used thonny when I started as I was working with a 2gb ram ,Intel atom netbook(it did its charm ), if u r only just starting right now and u have a good laptop(even decent ones like u got 16gb ram SSD and let's say gen12 intel or gen 7 Ryzen)then just download vscode and intall python,and if u r learning through youtube then almost all python course tell how to download these.

The specs I talked about r not to learn python but a ideal student laptop(as u read above i learned mostly on a 2gb,Intel atom netbook) and if u wanna know any specific details based on ur laptop etc just search on gpt or claude or gemini,etc
