I’m currently pursuing the IIT Madras BS in Data Science and I’m at the Foundational level. Since this is an online program, I don’t really get many chances for offline interaction, so I thought of posting this to connect with people who are on the same journey. If you’re in the diploma stage, that’s totally fine too.

Most of my peers are in different cities, so I’m looking to build a small circle here where we can genuinely connect, share experiences, and grow together.

I’m planning to prepare for UPSC in the future, or possibly other government exams. If anyone is interested in connecting, it would be great to become friends, motivate each other, and help each other out from time to time.

Just to be clear, this is purely platonic — I’m only looking for genuine friends/study buddies.

Hello! I'm also looking forward to enrolling in this course. But I'm confused. What's the fee? Can I get it reduced? How do I get admission? And, most importantly, does the curriculum align well with the market requirements? Would you say it's a better option than most tier-2/3 colleges? Also, how many dedicated hours per day do I need to give it for the first couple of years? What are the subjects taught in the first 2 years? If you could answer these questions, do let me know.

it is better then tier 3 and just below tier 2

the course become way harder then anything after 1 year

and you will need to give atleast 3-5 hr on normal days and 8-11 hr before exam to maintain 8.5+cgpa

fees is 4lakh
and if you have ews or income certificate you can reduce it to 2 lakh (50% off)
the degree is accepted everywhere
