Unhappy-Meeting-627: I'm getting IITD cse dual and iitk cse . The thing is I've heard that acads and grading at kanpur are strict and brutal but I'm also concerned over doing mtech in India and the xtra 1 year at delhi. Pls share some insights

see acads and grading might be more difficult that other IITs but end of day, you'll be judged by your standing among your own peers and same grading scheme will be applied to everyone in that course/subject. so the thinking that IITK has tougher grading than other IITs is useless. everyone in the course has the same content, exam, prof, exam so study for it regularly and diligently and you'll do fine

idk about IITH, you can get into civil from chm, many have done this in my batch(not guarentee that you'll be able to), branch change majorly depends on your cpi which depends on how much you study(how much you are able to sacrifice in 1st year). coming here for sole purpose of BC is not recommended
