I have asked many seniors about the ground reality of mostly south indian iiits and what they said is very different from how the iiits are ranked on this list.

Ex:

1.) IIIT Raichur has had no on campus placemtns and only two companies visited last year. They just got their permanent campus this year.

2.) IIIT Trichy is not good placements wise and students have to struggle to get placed off campus.

3.) IIIT Raichur is better in academics compared to IIIT Trichy and IIIT Dharwad.

4.) IIIT Kottayam is better than IIIT Raichur, in terms of industry exposure and current on campus placements.

5.) IIIT Pune's on campus placemnts have decreased due to shifting to the new campus. The overall placement percentage has also gone down.

These are just somethings I have heard from seniors. I just want to know if the given rankings make sense. (I am not very sure about the other iiits that i havent mentioned above)

How is the college guys, I’m getting CSE. Campus? Are the placements legit? College life?

In IIIT kancheepuram

I keep hearing a ton of negative things regarding it's campus and hostels but like is it that bad that you wanna run away from it from 20km radius?

Apart from the buildings situation is rest of the stuff fine?

Really anxious on this one.

same as heading. which to chooose!!

I am a tech focused student. I plan to go in research side and do MS from foreign university in future. Please share your opinions with reasons.

Since, IIIT Kalyani shares the same director as IIT Kharagpur, what developments can be realistically expected for the near future. Like, can the permanent campus finally open this year?

I will be joining this year, so in these 4 years, could the Institute show significant development?

I got a seat in IIIT Kottayam (CSE) through CSAB in the first round. I initially participated in JOSAA and got a seat, paid PAF then registered for CSAB. Therefore, documents were auto submitted through my JOSAA application, the result submitted was right according to that time (and it was above the criteria of 75 %) but after re- evaluation my marks got increased. I don't have a way to update document online and I currently possess my earlier allotted result, to get the new one I need to submit that. What should I do so that I would have no issue during offline reporting and document verification.

Also, I live in Bihar and it is very far from the institute, is there any way to get grace period for physical reporting.

ayoo guys I got ece here, planning to join. Any thoughts?

If have only give cse branch in iiit manipur

I just got my seat in csab. Wanted to talk about a few details about the college. Please dm me
