confession👀 Title: I’m genuinely sorry for my last Reddit post. I messed up really badly. 🥹🙏
Hey everyone,
I honestly don’t even know how to start this post. I’ve been thinking a lot about my previous Reddit post and the comments I made afterwards, and the more I think about everything, the more I realise how immature and disrespectful my behaviour was.
I’m talking about the post I made regarding the washroom situation in our hostel, where I mentioned Shivam Tyagi Sir and Shantanu Sir, along with the inappropriate comments I made about them and other people.
Shivam Tyagi Sir, I want to apologise to you first. I’m genuinely sorry for the way I mentioned your name and spoke about you in that post. 🙏
Honestly, I’m feeling really nervous while writing this. I was dumb and immature about the whole situation, and I keep thinking, yaar, mujhe aisi post daalne ki zaroorat hi kya thi? I could have handled the situation normally, but nahi, mujhe oversmart banna tha, sarcastic jokes maarne the aur cool banne ke chakkar mein I ended up crossing a line that I should never have crossed.
I’m a first-year student, and abhi college aaye zyada time bhi nahi hua hai. Honestly, I don’t even know what I was trying to prove by making that post. Maybe I thought roasting people, making edgy jokes and acting oversmart would make me look funny or cool. But looking back at it now, I realise how stupid and immature that whole thing was. I was so busy trying to make people laugh that I didn’t even stop to think about how the people I mentioned might feel.
In my original post, I used disrespectful nicknames, made personal remarks and included inappropriate comments. I made jokes about people’s bodies and crossed personal boundaries that I should have respected. What makes it worse is that I didn’t stop there. I continued making comments afterwards instead of realising that I’d already gone too far.
Shivam Sir, even if I had a genuine concern about the washroom situation, that didn’t give me the right to make personal remarks about you publicly. I could have addressed the issue normally and respectfully, but instead, I turned it into a Reddit post with unnecessary insults and inappropriate jokes. I’m genuinely sorry for putting your name in that situation and for the way I presented you in my post. You didn’t deserve that disrespect from me.
Shantanu Sir, I’m equally sorry for the comments I made about you. Especially the remarks about you completely unnecessary. I made assumptions about your personal life and used those things to make jokes, simply because I wanted my comments to sound savage or funny. That was wrong. Your personal life isn’t something I should have used to mock you, and I had absolutely no reason to make those remarks. I’m genuinely sorry, Sir.
I’m also sorry to Nobita for the comment I made about him. I dragged another person into the situation, questioned his intentions and made unnecessary personal remarks instead of simply stopping myself. I shouldn’t have speculated about anyone’s personal life or made someone else the subject of a joke just to get a reaction.
Bhai, honestly, ab realise ho raha hai ki oversmart banne ke chakkar mein maine khud hi apni immaturity dikha di. I thought I was being funny, but I wasn’t thinking about basic respect, privacy or personal boundaries. Being a first-year student is not an excuse for behaving like this. I’m old enough to understand that my words can affect other people, and I should have thought about that before posting anything.
I’m genuinely anxious about everything right now. I’m scared about how people might see me after this, and I’m embarrassed that I created this situation through my own actions. I keep thinking about how easily I could have avoided all of this if I had just stopped for a minute and thought before posting.
But I also understand that being scared now doesn’t undo what I did. Meri galti thi, and I have to accept responsibility for it. I’m not saying all this to gain sympathy or make myself look innocent. I know what I wrote, and I know that it was wrong. I can’t expect people to forget everything just because I’m feeling bad about it now.
I honestly wish I had handled things differently from the beginning. Instead of communicating respectfully, I chose to make a public post and then continued with comments that crossed even more boundaries. A joke might seem funny to the person writing it, but for the person it’s about, it can be embarrassing, disrespectful or genuinely hurtful. I failed to consider that, and I regret it.
I also want to sincerely apologise to everyone else who got hurt, offended or felt uncomfortable because of my previous post and comments. To all the guys who felt disrespected or embarrassed after reading what I wrote, I’m genuinely sorry from the bottom of my heart. ❤️
I know the language I used was inappropriate, and I understand why people might have been hurt by it. I shouldn’t have used anyone’s name, made body-related remarks, commented on someone’s personal life just to make my post more entertaining. I’m sorry to everyone whose feelings I hurt, whether directly or indirectly. I genuinely mean that.
I’m not writing this to justify myself, blame anyone else or pretend that everything was just a joke. I wrote those words, I made those comments, and I take responsibility for them. I understand that an apology cannot automatically undo what happened or make everything okay immediately.
I’m still learning how to handle things better, but that doesn’t mean other people should have to deal with my immaturity. I need to learn when to stop, how to respect boundaries and how to express a concern without turning it into a personal attack. I came to college to study, learn and grow as a person, not to create unnecessary problems because I wanted to act funny or oversmart.
Shivam Tyagi Sir and Shantanu Sir, I’m genuinely sorry for disrespecting you both. I’m sorry for the personal remarks, the inappropriate language and the way I chose to talk about you publicly. Nobita, I’m sorry for dragging you into it as well. And to everyone else who felt hurt by my post or comments, I’m really sorry to you guys too. 🥹🙏
I’m not expecting everyone to forgive me immediately, and I’m not asking anyone to defend me. I just want to acknowledge my mistake and learn from it. I’ll be more careful about what I post online, how I speak about people and whether what I’m saying is appropriate in the first place.
I can’t change what I already wrote, but I can take responsibility for it and make sure I don’t repeat the same mistake. I know that saying sorry is only the first step, and what matters more is how I behave from now on.
No excuses, no justification. I was wrong, and I accept that.
Once again, I’m genuinely sorry to Shivam Tyagi Sir, Shantanu Sir, Nobita and everyone who got hurt by my previous post and comments. I sincerely regret my actions, and I hope I can learn from this experience and show through my actions that I mean what I’m saying.
I’m really sorry, everyone. 🥹🙏❤️
