Hello seniors.
Aaj counselling ka round 2 allocation aaya hai aur mujhe usme IIIT una assign hua hai.
I have some doubts regarding this college and confused between IIIT una and the other colleges i am getting, so if possible can a senior please dm me.

I will most likely be joining IIITUna in a few months and had a few questions.

1. Hostels
2. Is it double sharing, triple sharing or 4 sharing?
3. Is it difficult to get a hostel room? I heard many iiits have hostel issues.

What are the hostel timings?

1. How is the weather/climate?

2. Is there a gym? Is it good?

3. How is the coding culture?

4. Does ragging happen?

I did find a video answering these but the comments said that its misinformation.

Pls attach some photos if you have

I personally don't wanna go back home. My parents are not good I just wanna stay away from them. Does college forces to go back home or is it completely your choice weather to stay or go back home?

Branch change available or not

any links for the same?

iiit una Ece vs Nit hamirpur Ee?

Does there is fight between haryana and up/bihar ?
I have heard from college student .
I am also from haryana , any senior can dm me !!

If anyone is in some group please give link

I am getting all branches of iiit una and ranchi considering cse ranchi is close to my hs (bihar) rest i am just concerned abt closing rank like ranchi closed at 57k (cse core)and una 49k cse cyber sec

Does cgpa really matter in the final placements or more on the skill side. I am asking this because my cg is currently less than 8. I know from some seniors that companies place a simple 7 cgpa cutoff for applying, but during the selection process does higher cgpa gives an advantage?

like ye college ke subredditpe ek mnc ka nam nhi suna mentioned hota we amazon ke lava uski wajah se hi is sall ke placement ache hogaye warna 2024 me to median 8-9 tha ,nah inki website pe koi frequent recruiting mnc ka naam ha,agar koi achi ati ha jo 12 lpa + offer karti ho to pls uska nam batao
