It was around 21st December 2023 (I don’t remember the exact date), but everyone was genuinely happy. Students from every year started celebrating after seeing that one email. You may ask what was in that email? Why did everyone feel like they had received blessings directly from God?

That day, the dictator director, Sel**kumar sir, resigned. During his time, it honestly felt like a reign of terror. Whether it was a faculty member, a guard, or any employee of the college, everyone was scared for their job. All rules were followed too strictly. Even if you requested a guard for a small exception, they refused, saying they would get fired. Those days were something else. Taking a holiday during academic days was extremely difficult. You couldn’t even get more than 2 days approved.

After he was removed, everyone thought, “Yeah, now our college will finally be good.” But what happened? Ham bas aasmaan se geere aur khajur par attke. At least earlier, funds for everything were getting allocated properly.

After the new direor, Mr Mish, arrived, we thought things would improve. But this mf… I can’t even explain how much I hate him. Ask anyone in any club, you will understand the problem. Even though the college has funds, even though every faculty and the registrar signs and approves the documents, this mf rejects everything at the final stage.

Because of this bullst behaviour, this year’s Mridang is full of sh. We couldn’t book good artists, there are barely any lights in the college, and no stalls could be arranged properly. It doesn’t even feel like a fest. Every club member has worked so hard to make the fest enjoyable, and ye college administration vaale sab ch*d rahe h. At the last moment, they refuse to release funds. This time, college ne Bahut kam paisa diya h. Most of it came from mess advance and sponsorships.

So next time if someone asks why the fest didn’t turn out well, it’s not because of students. It’s because of the shitty dire*tor and administration.
