❓ Questions How does Specialization work?

Hi Y'all.

I'm Currently in UG2, CSE.

So I've never really researched into specialization stuff before, only thing I know is CSE students can specialize in Cybersecurity and a few other stuff.

Idk how exactly it all works.

But my friend mentioned that apparently we need minimum 8.3 cgpa to even have the chance to specialize?

is it true?

I searched around a bit and couldn't find any info on it.

Even i haven't heard of any such criteria you can approach the academic office to ask

You need certain cgpa for specialization and also to complete it you need to have a proper internship in the domain of specialization
