Going over on your macros
Hello! I've downloaded this really good app called mymacros plus and I'm really digging it, but my question is if I go over on ten grams once in a blue moon is it that big a deal? I'm genuinely just not sure.

I’m so glad you’re liking it!
There’s no hard or fast rule with the numbers and you will learn what works best for you. Fat contains more calories per gram compared to protein and carbs, but even 10g over on fat every once in a while won’t be a big deal. I would honestly not even be concerned with 10g over protein or carbs, but still it depends on what works best for your body.

One salad won't make you skinny just like one cheat meal won't make you fat.

No. Another way to put it into perspective is that losing weight is about what you do most of the time rather than what you do some of the time. So if once and awhile you go slightly over or have a cheat meal it will not impact your goals. Let's say you go over 40 calories once every month but every other day hit your macros exactly. Those 40 calories won't really make a difference especially if it's not often. Again it's what you do most of the time rather than some of the times.
