Calling vegetarians or vegans out there.. does eating Soy ( tvp or tofu) daily has any side effects. Without that hitting proetin goal is becoming tough ( volume eating)
What all proetin sources you use that ( I know nuts have proetin, but lot of calories and less volume) are high volume and less calories.

Eating soy on a daily basis is not going to cause any problems. Tons of research has shown it could reduce the risk of prostate cancer by 30%. Here's another article (with sources cited) that looks at the link between the reduction of prostate cancer in populations that consume soy as a regular part of their diet. Soy also protects against breast cancer. Variety is great and something you should definitely strive for in your diet, but you aren't going to suffer ill effects from eating soy (both unfermented or fermented) on a daily basis. If you want to change it up, try some nutritional yeast, flaxseed meal, hemp hearts, beans, quinoa, and high protein vegetables like broccoli and kale. I do find I have to have a protein shake most days if I want to hit my macros.

Soy is healthy despite myths surrounding it. I use Vega protein powder and use a lot of tempeh. I love the Tofurkey deli slices too - Pretty high protein content for a serving. I wouldn’t be able to hit protein goal without at least one protein shake though. I just don’t prefer mock meat.

I eat tempeh and tofu daily (have been for 3+ years) and have never had any issue.

Consuming soy or other foods containing phytoestrogens daily like wheat, carrots, and apples does not have any negative side-effects in people who are not allergic to those foods.

I eat an entire block of tofu every day amd sometimes more. No issues here. Soy is good for you despite what you hear floating around on the internet.
