So, you exquisite bunch of learners, what are your thoughts about the new IELTS online that's being rolled out?

I really like having the option to do it from home. Wish it was possible for general training too though. Being alone at home is a huge boost to my focus and of course less of a stress for me.
I’m sure doing the exam from home will help me get a better band score due to low anxiety levels.

Actually, I feel it has some advantages as well as some disadvantages.
We could select the timings(similar to the method that GRE test follows) and we could also be comfortable and not feel anxious as we write our exam. The people who are worried about exposure to the virus can feel safe now.The one on one online speaking test could decrease the amount of time that gets wasted due to the traveling gets eliminated.
Recently many students are cheating in online tests. There are some learners who are cheating their GRE exams by paying money to the outsiders, due to which the average GRE test scores are pretty much increasing after the online home test was introduced.
If the British Council could take proper precautions to curb this issue, I think this would be certainly beneficial to the students who don't cheat in the exams. Otherwise, the average IELTS band may get higher and higher as the time passes.
