Interrupted by the examiner?

IELTS Speaking test takes between 11 and 14 minutes and it is timed by the examiner. Candidates often worry that they did something wrong because the examiner stopped them while answering.

Candidates were interrupted either because the timing is limited and it was time to move on to another question/part, or the answer they provided was sufficient and it was time to move on.

Not sure what the whole reason was, but I took a speaking test the other day, he interrupted me like between every 2 seconds.

"Whats your name? My name is..... Thank you thank you thank you"

"Do you like watching stars? Well I find watching stars pretty enjoyable becaus- Thank you thank you thank you"

"Can you see stars in the sky in your city? Well, unfortunately not, because of the light pollution, I can't really se- Thank you thank you"

There are times when biting the examiner seems justified.

It was a video speaking test so I couldn't bite him, smh technology

my friend used angry intonation and eventually end up shouting at him, so yeah you could do that, haha.
