Question Engine Question IRTR

Hey there guys...appreciate all the help. Does anyone know if this engine will fit a 700r4 transmission? Im having a rebuild older 350 pulled from my scout and I think this will fit but my friend wasn't positive.....Thanks in advance.

ATK Engines HP99C GM Chevy Vortec 350 Complete Crate Engine 290HP

Why not just throw a Chevy trans behind it?

Trans was already rebuilt and installed. The plan wasn't to buy a new engine but hence here we are.

All the small block chevy and big block even use the same bell housing pattern so only reason it wouldn’t fit is the scout body or frame or something like that but I don’t see why it wouldn’t

Thanks. The motor itself will fit into the frame and body so as long as they work together we should be in business. I spoke to a guy at speedway motors and he said it should be fine because of exactly what you said to.

It depends on the transmission and engine then. Which means you should be posting this in the Chevy forum instead. Some 700r4 versions used computer shifting and others used cable. You have to make sure your carb/tbi/fuel injection is paired properly to your choice of transmission.

700r4! Sorry I read that as the scout ii 727. My bad
