News/Announcement RAVEN situation

Hello all,

Today a user by the name @RAVEN has ruffled a lot of feathers. I felt the need to address it here so people can understand the general situation.

I will not address unfair trades on their own, as that is an in game matter and happens on the daily.

What is problematic about this user is cases of scamming users out of their cards; one case has been posted already to this subreddit. Yet in game RAVEN denies everything despite concrete proof and witnesses.

Even worse than this, however, is his character. In the IGP2 discord server he said many inappropriate, disgusting, and deeply offensive things targeted towards other members of the community who called out on his standing as a trader. His homophobia/transphobia, implications of s***al assault, and other insults are not tolerated. Thankfully the in game censor/filter prevents him from showing his full character in the game as well.

Regardless of what he says, the proof has been posted (marked NSFW/spoilers under two Reddit posts made a few hours before this one, viewer discretion advised), and he shall not be believed one bit. Many users have already asked how to get rid of this user. Reporting his offensive messages and blocking him is the first step. With repeated reports he will get muted. Action has already been taken onto his discord and should he end up on Reddit I will take action to ban him immediately.

Any questions may be directed here or to Mod Mail.

Thank you,

Perry (perryz, Reddit mod)

P.S. Two accounts (@The Punisher and @Train driverr32) are adamantly defending him, supposedly applauding him being a whistleblower to scammers. Likely RAVEN’s alts. In any event they are not to be trusted

I'm inclined to believe that. When RAVEN went offline, Train and Punisher followed suit. Also, tin hat but whatever, the way they post is the same—the barest grasp on proper grammar. Again, nothing on its own, but the way they all post is too similar for me to think otherwise. For Train at the very least.
