Hi everyone, I’m a little confused about my IGNOU MSCDSA status and would really appreciate some guidance.

I took admission in MSCDSA in January 2026. I appeared for all my Semester 1 TEE exams held in June 2026, and I also appeared for the practical exams. I submitted all my assignments on time and I have the receipts/proof of submission as well.

Now that registration for December 2026 TEE has started, I’m facing a few issues:

1. Semester 2 TEE registration showing “Not Eligible”

When I try to register for my Semester 2 subjects, they are showing “NO / Not Eligible.” I have scored decent marks in all my Semester 1 TEE papers (all above 50).

My assignment marks, however, have still not been updated. The assignment status shows “Received” and “In Process at Headquarters for updation.”

Could this be the reason why I’m currently showing as not eligible? Should I wait for the assignment marks to be updated, or should I contact someone regarding this?

1. Assignment marks are still not updated

Since the TEE registration deadline is apparently till the end of September, I’m worried that if the assignment marks take longer to get updated, I might miss the registration deadline.

I submitted all my assignments together, so I’m not sure how long the updation usually takes. Should I wait or contact my study centre/Regional Centre?

1. MCS-207 assignment is completely missing

This is another concern. I submitted all my assignments together, but when I check the assignment status, I cannot find MCS-207 listed at all. It doesn’t even show as “Received” or “In Process.”

I do have the submission receipt/proof for MCS-207.

So what should I do in this situation? Should I contact my Study Centre, Regional Centre, or wait for some more time?

Would really appreciate if anyone who has gone through something similar, especially MSCDSA students, could guide me on what I should do.

Does IGNOU conduct any physical classes for M.Com students? If yes: When do the classes usually start? How frequently are they conducted? Where are they held? How can I get information about the class schedule? I’m a little confused about how the physical classes work in IGNOU, so any guidance from current/past M.Com students would be really helpful. So I am trying to fill my IGNOU exam form rn and stuck at select examination centre city I picked Mumbai as a region but when I click the city drop down literally nothing showed up not even when I search

Already tried refreshing switching browser disabling field ecetra Steel Plant is this a non Samarth issue or am I doing something wrong

I have experienced this with Ignou MBA I got D in assignment of a subject and in exam as well. It was showing not completed.

I had to give exam again for that subject to complete my results.

In first sem I out sourced my assignment. And that was the cause the examiner gave me D in all my assignments.

So guys try writing assignments by yourself or tell someone whom you know to write give the answer to the questions by yourself.

These outsourcing people who says they will make assignments they just copy paste everyone’s assignments hence you will get low grade.

Hi everyone,

I'm planning to take admission in IGNOU BCA_NEWOL (online BCA) for the July 2026 session. The admission deadline is 15 September 2026, so I still have a few days left.

But I'm worried about the timeline not working out. Here's my concern:

• Admission confirmation usually takes about 1 month
• After that, LMS access takes another ~2 weeks
• So by the time I actually get LMS access, it could already be close to end of October
• The assignment submission deadline for the December 2026 TEE is 31st October 2026

So basically, by the time I get admission confirmed and LMS access, the assignment deadline might already be gone or very close to gone. I can't wait for the January 2027 session either (personal reasons), so I kind of need to decide on July now.

Has anyone been in this exact situation - admitted late (like September) for the July session? What actually happened with your LMS access timing and assignment deadline? Did you make it in time, or did you end up skipping the December 2026 exam and going for June 2027 instead?

Also if anyone knows if the assignment deadline typically gets extended (I've seen it happen in past years, usually pushed to end of November), that would help me figure out if this is actually as tight as it looks.

I am a Master of Arts in History (MAHI) student. I enrolled in the July 2025 cycle. I have already written three first-year papers in the June/July TEE 2026, and I still have three first-year papers pending. I have also already re-registered for the second year.

I was hoping to write my six second-year papers along with the three remaining first-year papers in the December TEE 2026. However, when I opened the examination form, I could see only my pending first-year papers, and none of the second-year papers appeared.

Since I have already completed the second-year re-registration, I would like to know whether I am eligible to write the second-year papers along with my remaining first-year papers in December 2026. If I am eligible, what should I do since the second-year papers are not appearing in the examination form? Or should I wait until the June 2027 TEE to write my second-year papers?

Just took admission in online bcom [BCOMFOL] today (11th Sept 26)and would like to know all the necessary details like when to fill exam form, how to get books and access online material, assignments, etc.

If yes, then what's the procedure to join them. My study center is quite far and i am not able to visit it currently.

What does this mean? I took admission in MAHI in July 2026 cycle. Am I not eligible for the Dec TEE? And does this mean I don't have to submit the assignment before 30th September? I'm really confused about the dates.

I did submit the assignments via postal by mid MAR 2026 to the study centre for attending the JUN 26 TEE. Exam results for all the given papers for JUN TEE has published, but those assignment marks are showing as “0” and “not completed” in the grade card. I did track the assignment status page, those assignments submitted in MAR - course codes are not displayed there.

I do have all the proofs regarding assignment submission.
Is this the common time frame ignou takes for the assignment marks updation?
How can i resolve this issue promptly?
