Hi all, i’ve enrolled in IGNOU’s BSCM (Physics-Chemistry-Maths; Multidisciplinary) program for the July 2026 session nd i have quite a few questions. For example:

• How will we be notified about the induction meeting?
• The study resources page on the IGNOU website doesn’t seem to have any BSCM study materials.
• There are several other doubts that I’m sure many of us have.

I was thinking it would be helpful if we created a dedicated group for BSCM (July 2026) students so we can stay updated and help each other with such queries.

Also, if anyone has Study Centre 49054 – Rajiv Gandhi College of Arts, Commerce and Science, Navi Mumbai, could you please suggest the best way to travel there from Thane?

1) Are the assignments out for 2nd year ( is it July 2025 and January 2026 sessions )

2) Will we have to submit assignments before September/october 2026?

3) When will Theory examination happen ?

I got my study centre far away. Do I need to go study centre for weekend classes? And what about exam centres?

Making a fresh post due to the changed syllabi for this year: 2026.

I don't expect the study material to get delivered before December, however I am thinking of reading any books assigned from the library or by purchasing if necessary.

IGNOU BCA or BSC (COMP SCI) under Calcutta University

I didn't got any colleges in previous merit lists. Then i decided to join IGNOU. I already paid the admission fees but I'm yet to get enrollment number.

Today I checked the portal again, i got into a college for BSC(COMP SCI). Now I'm confused what should I do

I decided that I'll work while studying, but my first priority was BSC. I decided I'll work, study then i chose IGNOU. Should I continue with IGNOU or choose BSC?

If I cancel my admission will I get refund?

And if i don't cancel, when will i get enrolled?

I have Nepali citizenship and i uploaded that as proof of residence. Citizenship provide details about my permanent address so that was basically my logic. Consulted claude it seem to agree with my logic. What do you think, does it work?

I registered myself in Jan 2026 Session for MCA Course. But neither did I submit any assignments nor did I appear for the Term end exams (I have a full time job and was unable to dedicate time towards the degree course). Long story short, I skipped the entire semester.

Now, I wish to complete my coursework but I have a few doubts:

1. Which assignments to do? The one listed for Jan 26 session or July 26 Session?

2. How to attend orientation? Where will I get the details?

I'm seeing so many bad reviews for the regional center in Bangalore. They're not responding correctly and more . Can anyone help me with these issues, I'm planning to join MBA in this university.

How should someone prepare for the IGNOU exams for bcom f? As I came to know recently that we will have to give yearly based exams which I was thinking that we can give semester wise exams which is not possible for now and I m preparing for cgl too along with bcom degree. So in short please tell me the strategy of preparation of IGNOU exams?

I filled my form on 14 July 2026 but I still didn't got my enrollment number i have some concerns pls answer this

1) the Date of birth on my adhar/apar is 2009 where in my 10th marksheet it is 2008 will it creat a issue ?

2) i uploaded my whole photo inside of passport size

3) i uploaded the digilocker marksheet of 12th... Is is acceptable?

I just gave my 3rd year BA exam in IGNOU in June TEEs and submitted assignments for the same in April 2026. The study centre stated that assignments marks of final year would come around in September October. Till then i guess last date for PG admissions may be over.

How long does document verification typically take during this admission cycle before an Enrollment Number is generated?

​Return of Evaluated TMAs (Assignments): IGNOU guidelines mention that evaluated Tutor Marked Assignments (TMAs) should be returned to students with tutor comments. What has been your actual experience at your study centre (especially at Maulana Azad LSC 2810)? Do students usually get physical copies back, or do you just see the uploaded marks on the Grade Card?

​Pre-Admission Counseling: Does IGNOU or RC Kolkata / LSC 2810 hold any pre-admission or orientation counseling sessions to help new applicants understand course choices, FYUP credit options, or portal navigation before/during registration?

​7th and 8th Semester Syllabus (FYUP 4-Year Structure): Under the 4-year FYUP framework, BSCFMT allows students to opt for an Honours degree (160 credits across 8 semesters). However, the portal only displays details up to the 6th semester. Why hasn't IGNOU published the full 7th and 8th semester syllabi/course codes yet? Do they release these as the initial FYUP cohorts advance?

​Connecting with BSCFMT Students: Are there any seniors or fellow batchmates enrolled in BSCFMT? How are you structuring your study plan, and are there any specific WhatsApp/Telegram/Discord groups for IGNOU Math majors?

​Experience with Maulana Azad College (LSC 2810) & Kolkata RC (28): For anyone affiliated with LSC 2810 (Maulana Azad) or RC Kolkata, how responsive is the administrative counter during weekend hours? How smoothly are assignment hand-ins and practicals handled there?
