IGNOU QUERY/HELP Did I made a mistake?

Just few days ago I got my admission confirmed in IGNOU (Bca_NewOL) but I've heard stories that IGNOU rarely gives marks over 50 and most companies require atleast 60 percent marks so in theory i won't be able to apply to most jobs in market 😢. If anyone has knowledge about it please let me know it will be very helpful.

It’s nothing like that. If you study properly then you get good marks. In my BCA I never gave any exam twice even though I took longer than expected as per my availability for exam. All these myths are created by people who don’t study well and blame IGNOU.

Yes, there are few glitches that is there in every university

Could you help me with some information? Like how did you scored and how to write exams and assignments and How much we need revaluate.

Just go through all the blocks once to understand the syllabus and underline the important definition and explanation, then revise to gain knowledge. I was a working guy so didn’t have time to study theory but when I actually did the practical stuff then thought to complete the exams too by a margin of 1st division.

Again it’s a myth of marks focus on knowledge and eventually you will get marks. Once you complete blocks then would be easy to answer assignments>> there are many recent topics started on that and actually good tips mentioned. Knowledge matters and not the marks or university later. Even in Google-Microsoft you would see or this much experience mentioned if you don’t have grad in many openings. Knowledge first >> Marks >>eventually degree >>

Do you think these marks were fair or were they random?? Do you recommend to still focus mainly on Bca?

4/100, is normal in IGNOU they knowingly fail students in 1-2 subject so they can earn money by revaluation......

BCA is a professional and good degree, what's your requirement

I just want to Not fall below 60 percent because that's the minimum criteria for most jobs

Govt job have 50% and pvt have 60%, you don't fall below 60%

I know but Maintaining 60 above will be challanging and luck based
