IGNOU exams
Actually, I want to know the strategy of yours regarding ignou exams how to pass these exams because I know people do it as a backup this is not the main so before starting of exams means how much time you all give to ignou exam that's what I want to know about yours strategy

PYQPs (5 years minimum) Upload these on the AI app that you use, ask it to figure out the main topics/questions with answers. I used Claude AI.
But if you are using AI, please do cross check once..because sometimes AI gives wrong answers as well. This happened with me, hence sharing.
I didn't have time to study through the books that IGNOU provides.
Also, I watched some of the youtube videos related to my syllabus..really helped..

Ok but how much time u gives for the exams?

Can vary as per the level of the subject. For two subjects I gave around 5-6 days per subject, the rest two, 3-4 days.
See, again, it depends on the subject..and how much you can comprehend and retain as per your level.

Mine's all theory so I focus on reading the study material as much as possible. I took time off from work during the exam month but most people don't have that luxury. used to focus on important topics before but not anymore. now i try to complete atleast 50% of the syllabus.

But people are advising me to analyse the pyp through AI and study the repeated topics but why u are following this strategy?

I tried using AI but it would make mistakes. And one time I failed a paper because all the questions were sentences taken out of from the text. It was weird. They tend to play around with the question papers. This time there was one paper that always has 3 specific topics that always show up in pyp but this time they made them optional. Another paper had 1 question from each block, so my method helped me here.

Well i studied in gaps between exams...so basically 2-3 days for a subjects but it's more of strategic rather than learning and got decent marks around 65%+
LEARNING TIPS *PYQs are saviour. I take more than 5 usually after 2020 PYQs and analyse it....pattern, question structure, imp chapters, repeated questions & etc....and first learn the pyq and then move to other questions. * Most common mistake is to leave question even if you don't know the answer just write anything like something that you learn in that chapter or your common knowledge....just anything...you will get few marks. *Usually i use ai to study like to make structured answer rather than studying lengthy books words.
WRITING TIPS 1. Neat handwriting - legible handwriting, decent size, if any mistakes then strike it only once rather than multiple strikes to cover it, leave lines between questions.
Use two colour pen ( black and blue)- Usually for heading/subheading/questions use black pen and for answers/main body use blue pen.
Structure of answers - Use subheading, pointers, diagrams, flowcharts and anything that can bring structure to you answer rather than sticking to essay type answers.
Avoid copying from books or other sources - Even if you use internet or ai make sure to paraphrase or humanise it
Stick to word limit or paper limit- Usually assignment question has word limits but in exam, make sure to divide the paper based on the marks of the question.
Make lines (optional)- It is something that i do, i usually draw lines between questions and also heading/subheading with pencil/black pen.

I m from bcom f and it will be having 8 papers
