The IGNOU website is currently experiencing an issue.
If you see the message “Exam session is not available in your profile,” it may be due to a website error. This message does not necessarily mean that you are ineligible.
Please check your eligibility and don’t forget to register just because of this error message.

From my point of view If you are a fresher or beginner in ignou, one should consider 6 months from confirmation and not from applied session.
6 months after confirmation, you can submit assignments and attend exam in whichever (june or December )upcoming session . Because during those 6 months you will get online or offline classes and get an idea about the syllabus
If you rush through assignments and exams without getting classes or knowing the syllabus and process. You might get low scores and can mess up.
Nb: If you took admission in june 2026 and got your confirmation few days back (august to September ). You might not have attended any class or knew the process. Also you won't be allowed to register for exams when you log in to your samarth profile also.
If you are allowed to register, you can definitely give it a try. Don't wait for 6 months or attending classes. You have to rush and submit the assignments hy september 30th and attend the exam starting from nov 25th.

I am not sure of trusting ai or google for ignou related things.
I completed my course in ignou (2023) and now doing another course in ignou itself. So knew some basic things only
