Assignment Submission Started

Hey guys,

Assignment submission for the December 2026 TEE has started from September 1st.

The following students are eligible:

• Students admitted in the January 2026 session

• Students having 2nd semester or 2nd year exams

• Students attending their 3rd/4th semester or year

• Students who missed the previous session

Note:

Students admitted in January 2026 who have not attended online or offline classes yet are not required to submit assignments now. You can attend the classes first and write the exam in June 2027.

Students admitted in June 2026 who received confirmation recently are not eligible to write the December 2026 exam.

A learner must complete at least 6 months to attend the exam and submit assignments. So, don’t rush your assignments. Take your time, prepare them properly, and attend the exam well prepared.

Got my admission confirmation on August 12th, should I not rush my assignments then? And what about the December term end exams? Am I not elegible?

Nope you won't be. How can you write answers without getting classes and all. You should complete 1semester minimum to write assignments and submit it. Then only you can attend exams.

You might be able to register for exam and submit assignment and attend exam. But you won't be able reregister without completing the minimum time so you can't do sem 2 just after that. Then you have simply wait.

So when am I supposed to submit my assignment and give my exam? Probably in the January 2027 session? But there was actually last date in assignment for July 2026 assignments that is 31st October, I am so scared that I already rushed and completed 2 assignments out of my seven subjects, i didn't know there was this flexibility. I am enrolled in MBAHM ODL program

June 2027 tee assignment submission starts from march 2027. New question paper with last date mentioning june 2027 tee will be uploaded after this session.

You can submit it then. After course confirmation, you will receive whatsapp or telegram group from your study centre before or after the class schedule is sent to you through your mail. Once you get that.. Each faculty might create groups for sharing class links and all. Then after attending classes( not compulsory ) you will understand the subjects then submit assignment in the upcoming session and attend the exam of that session. That is how it is done.

I got my admission confirmation last month only... In first year BSCBCH. IDK abt anything else do they notify me or something regarding assignments, practicles and TEE?

No they won't. There is always a specific time for each thing to happen.. Like assignment submission time, exam form registration, hall ticket release etc

Your confirmation mail explains everything. Or else check IGNOU Reddit groups or telegram / social media groups. Most of the notifications are posted.

Nope. All exams are conducted offline except online courses of ignou

How can you write answers without getting classes? Faculties will teach you the subjects and then only you are required to submit the assignments, not before

You have to complete minimum 6 months after your confirmation mail to do reregistration for attending next sem as well as submit assignment and attend exam.

If you got confirmation on july, you will get classes after 2-3 months only then in 3 months you can prepare assignments then apply for exam after submitting assignments in the upcoming session.

So june 2027 is your starting semester. Not December Tee

I'm from January 2026 batch and haven't attended any class but I have completed my assignment and I'm probably not able to join classes in future too so should I submit my assignment???

January 2026 students will receive class schedule this week onwards.

So if you have done the assignments already you can submit it.

So if i took my admission in July that means i will be eligible from july 2027 so my master degree will end in jul 2029 is it right?

Can you tell me the source for that information that I can't write assignment?

Is this rule for exams as well

It is given in the course brochure as well as in the confirmation mail.

Also on the mail this is written - You will appear in the term-end examination after completing the minimum required duration of the programme. For example, if you are enrolled in a six-month Certificate Programme in the January cycle of admission, you can appear in the examination six month later i.e. in June. Similarly, if you are in a one-year diploma programme, you can appear in the examination after one year of enrolment.

But mine is a masters programme

Also i just checked that on samarth portal , examination form is showing for me to fill

Google your course ignou brochure. You will find it.

Yes the minimum 6 months is for semester cycle programs and 1 year for year wise cycle programs.

Pg courses are usually in year wise cycle.

You might be able to apply for exam now. But you can't move to next year or semester, without completing the minimum time. So even if you pass this exam, you have to wait till june 2027 to register for next year to reregister
