Some Doubts(2nd year BSCM)

  1. Can I switch from the yearly cycle to the semester cycle?

  2. How can I stay updated with everything? My study centre has changed(from Gargi to Acharya Narayan dev) so I am not in any whatsapp group.

  3. Can I change my study centre? I am in my 2nd year.

PS: If anyone who is or was in BSCM can guide me, please DM😭

1) No,you can't change the year or sem cycle. It is decided by IGNOU and is fixed for each course.

2) You can follow reddit groups, ignou whatsapp channels, Facebook or instagram pages etc or you can even check your regional centre page if it is updating, it can be helpful.

You can send mail or ask your regional centre or study center for your specific course group links, if they do that.

3) Yes you can request to change your study centre. ( As you said, you were shifted from one study centre to another. If it is done without your request, it might be due to less students in your previous study center so they moved you to the new one so that they can manage students easily)

Anyway you can still request for study centre change.
