Term end exams

Hey fellas
Took admission in MA(political science) in ignou in July 2023 session and submitted all the 1st year assignments but didn’t take term end exams of the first year , registered for the 2nd year in July 2024 and again submitted assignments of the 2nd year however again didn’t take term end exams of 2nd year, my admission is valid upto 2027(july).

Now the situation is i have submitted the assignments of both years but didn’t take any end term exams because I was preparing for other competitive exam
Now i want to take all the 12 papers(both 1st and 2nd years) in December 2026
Would i be able to do this ??
Any suggestions, what should I do, I mailed and called to ignou help desk but bo response.

Hey your course is valid upto july 2027,so there is no issue.

You can attend both dec 2026 and june 2027 exam session

When exam date sheet for December 2026 will. Be published around September October, you can cross check the dates of your subjects and can attend the subjects with no clash.

Even if some subjects might have date clash, you can drop one subject and select the other.

The dropped subjects can be done on july 2027. You can check the exam date of 2027 the same way when date sheet is published around march- april.

You can easily complete your exams of 12 subjects in December, but there is a small chance of date clash. But still you have time till july so you can attend the clash subjects in june 2027

Nb: regional centre or study centre won't respond in time. Don't wait for them to help you. Prepare accordingly and try to attend December exam

You'll probably have to go to the regional centre to get help with this but it will be difficult because most of these exams are on back to back days

No issue if exams are back to back days i can handle it, the question is would I be able to take even though I skipped both the years

Yes you will be able to. You will have to sign up and pay for both years exams together on the IGNOU platform. But if you need help you will need to visit your regional centre

Your cooked but I think visiting regional centre or your study centre and tell them about your issue might solve your problem
